Chapter 17: A Daughter For A Son

Third person's POV

The sky people's ship was just still being set aflame by the ever-growing fire while the Avatars and the soldiers on board had moved out to cover more ground with their guns being up high and they were ready to fire since they knew on who was coming towards them. Down below and in the water, Jake was just swimming with his spear and Spider who was with him as he was just directing the Na'vi man towards where his other two daughters were on the ship before Jake was just on the ship by now and he was just keeping low and behind the loose bits off from the ship as he was just listening to Quaritch who was just talking through the earpiece and he had spotted some of the Avatars nearby himself before he just takes in a deep breathe and he was just standing up just a little bit behind his cover and he just unclips his grenade that was just attached to his vest before he was just pulling the clip off and he just threw it into the helicopter's engine before Jake was just quickly making his way far away from the incoming explosion and he was just yelling out to Spider to get down as he just slides down from the tilted deck and he just lands behind some lower cover on the broken ship with Spider. Just a few seconds later, the place where he had thrown the grenade had ended up exploding, creating more fire and loose parts from the ship and it was just taking out some of the Sea-dragon and most of the sky people around it as a few of the Avatars just a few feet away had lost their balance from the force of the hit. As some of the sky people in their metal suits had gone to help their fellow injured people, Jake had appeared from out of the smoke with his spear and he just stabs some of the enemies with it and he just killed them with it as he just stabs an Avatar with the spear making the Avatar trapped to the deck. Jake then just pulls out his gun and he just fires at the sky people beside himself as he just runs for some cover before the other Avatars just began to fire their guns back at him.

Up high above in the sky and on a familiar Banshee, Neytiri had appeared on her Banshee and she just jumped off from the creature mid air before she just landed down and onto the deck and she just did a commando roll down the stairs before she just shouted out-loud at everyone else as she just fires her bow and an arrow at one of the Avatars who had yelped in pain at the hit while she was just trying to pull the arrow out of her leg. Neytiri then just runs over to the many sky people around herself with a raged expression on her face as she just swings her bow at one of them, knocking him away and she just sticks her arrow into the other one, picking him up by her arrow and she just fires another arrow at the Avatar who was just about to shoot over at her and she had killed the pair in one go. Neytiri then just huffed a breath of some air and she was just blowing her hair out of her face as she just makes her way over to where the arrow was in the Avatar's eye before Neytiri just makes a grunting sound as she had pulled the feathered arrow out of it and she was just looking up as she hears some incoming footsteps before Jake had appeared from around the corner and he just held his gun in his hands as he said to his wife "All clear" The pair then just spilt up to take out more of the enemies as Neytiri just puts an arrow into her bow while Jake just runs off with his gun in his hands as he just takes on one side of the deck's ridge, Neytiri had taken the other side and she just continued to shoot at anything and at anyone else. Within the moment that Jake had appeared in the line of the sight of the soldiers below himself on the ridge that he was just standing on, everyone else had turned their guns towards him and they had sent a barrage of bullets at his direction. "Look up!" One soldier had yelled out-loud to the rest of the group and they just began to shoot over at Jake in unison but he was just stealthily enough to move through the platform without being shot by them and when he was just running through the ridge, Jake had encountered a man with a gun that was just raised over at him but he had grabbed the solider and he just threw him over the edge without any hesitation.

At the same time, Neytiri was just getting closer to where her two other daughters were being held as captives but she still had a lot of the bullets to dodge before she just ran across the ledge and she just ducked out of sight as Quaritch had seen her and he just began to send many bullets towards Neytiri while the many soldiers had began to shoot in the same direction as they knew that she was there but she had avoided all of the shooting soldiers. As they had continued to shoot, Neytiri had slid down and onto her side and onto a empty crab suit but because she had left their sight, all of the soldiers had stopped shooting and Neytiri could hear the sounds of the sky people that were just moving around to herself as the Avatar that was there was just shouting some orders at them. When one of the sky people had gotten closer to where she was hiding, Neytiri just leaps out with her bow being aimed and she just yelled out-loud to everyone else as she just fires an arrow into his chest and she just knocks him down and he was dead. "To the left!, go!" The Avatar orders while he was just making some hand signals as the other two sky people were just doing as they were told to do by him with their guns out to fire at the Na'vi woman and they had started to surround her position. "Who's got eyes?!?!" One of the soldiers had shouted out-loud in a panicked tone to everyone else as they had surrounded the Na'vi woman but they couldn't spot her anywhere however, Neytiri just runs across one of the machines which was just laying on the ground as she just sneaks up behind one of the soldiers while she was just glaring with hatred as she just goes to fire one of her arrows again with a shouting tone at everyone else. Neytiri then just lands down and onto her feet with a grunting sound and she just alerts the much taller Avatar in front of herself who had turned around at the sound of hearing her and he just tries to fire some of his bullets at her however, she just kicks one of his knees roughly causing for him to yell out-loud in pain to everyone else and she just chorused the yelling back with a battle cry as she had used the end of her bow to knock him unconscious before she just turns around quickly as she just uses her last arrow on another solider that was just coming at her and she just shoots him directly in his chest before he just falls to the ground and he was dead. Neytiri then just hides behind the crab machine again as she saw some more soldiers were just coming at her with their guns and she didn't know if she could take them all on at once with no arrows left before she just holds her bow tighter in her hand as she was just breathing very heavily by now, Neytiri had came to seek her revenge and to end the suffering here, to kill everyone else in sight who took her eldest daughter away from herself and if she had went out with it, she was ready to go.
