You woke up to the new winter breeze and mint-like smell as you groggily look around and notice lots of new things around you. "What the fuck..?" You look at the offerings and jump down to read some of the notes on a table.
"The Dendro Yaksha (A/T), one of the 6 yakshas that protected Liyue during the time of the archon war. You will never be forgotten and we will pay our respects for the Dendro Yaksha during the Springtime and Harvest."

You re-read it to make sure you were correct and blanky stared at it for a bit while thinking about what the notes meant. "Did humans do this? I didn't die though. Did they think I died while I was asleep?" You thought as you then turned your attention to the offerings. You saw truckloads of Mora, Incense, Jewels, and even some Flowers.
You put everything in your inventory-like pockets and bag, then walked to the edge of the Mountain. "Holy shit..!" Your eyes brightened and excitedly looked at Liyue and saw many more Mountains, a Harbor, Hundreds of Houses and People, and.. The Inn.

Your mouth went dry and you couldn't stop shaking, after all these years it was still there... How? Who was protecting it? It looks so new..
You snapped out of your thoughts as you suddenly heard two people talking. One sounded like a pipsqueak while the other sounded more mature yet still young.
"Whoa whos that!" You heard the child yell to the older boy, you stopped in your tracks and turned to face them. You saw the boy's face turn slightly pink and the little fairy-like creature jumped in excitement, "Who are you? Paimon doesn't think we've seen you around Liyue Harbor!" The kid did a floating backflip and smiled at you and the other boy.
"I'm..." You questioned if you should tell them who you really were but decided against it, "I'm just a Traveler" They seemed to buy it and explained who they were aswell, Apparently they were trying to look for someone named 'Lumine'. They introduced themselves and you noticed they likely had no idea who you were so you tried to play it cool and pretend you totally weren't a war weapon to Morax himself.
You asked them lots about Liyue and even got some of their materials from the other nations. You couldn't push away the fact all your friends had died and here you were acting like you were fine while you just tried to seem friendly, you accidently let a tear slip out and you smacked your face before you started crying more. The Traveler and Paimon just looked at you like you were crazy, almost demanding an explanation.
"Oh- just a bug." You lied through your teeth and smiled, thankfully they only had 3 combined braincells and believed you.
"Wait... Are any of the Yakshas still alive..?" You ask the Traveler even though you know the answer was no, you just wanted to make yourself feel better trying to hope that atleast one survived.
"Now that you bring it up... Paimon is pretty sure Xiao is one!" You lift your head and slightly tilt it, "Uhm.. Who is Xiao?" You didn't remember any Yaksha named 'Xiao', were these Travelers just messing with you?
"Oh! Well- His Yaksha name was 'Alatus' Paimon thinks, he told us Rex- ah- Someone named him that when the Archon war was over" Your eyes widen in surprise and you feel your heart beat faster. "What!? Where is he!? Do you know him..!?" You throw thousands of questions at them quickly but quickly compose yourself with a cough. "Sorry-! I didn't mean to lash out.." You cover your embarrassed face with your hair that desperately needs a cut.
"Uhh, Paimon doesn't know where he LIVES but he's always hanging around Wangshu Inn, he's likely there right now actually! andddd.. We know him but.. he doesn't really like us, but then again he doesn't really like anyone" Paimon answered your questions and the Traveler just nods.
"Uhh.. Thanks, anyway- you should go. If you stay around too long, monsters might attack and I haven't trained in a while" You advise them and truthfully, you were pretty rusty. You didn't remember the last time you trained with your weapon at all. "Paimon thinks we should get going then, bye-bye~!" Paimon and Aether wave before jumping and gliding off the Mountain and landing next to a statue of Morax.
"I'll have to go to the Inn tomorrow, I'll need a human disguise though. I'm sure people who know the Tales of us Yakshas know who I am.." You thought as you made your plan on how to meet 'Xiao'. "As much as a I hate humans, those Travelers weren't too bad. Some humans are better then others I suppose."
