"NO, YOU'RE GOING TO GET HURT"

"WAAAAAAAAA MR.ZHONGLI HELP MEEEE"

Me and Xiao were yelling at each other in the middle of Xiao's room at Wangshu Inn while Zhongli was watching us two bickering with popcorn.

"HEY- OLD MAN- GET YOUR SON OFF MEEEE" Xiao pinned me down so my back was facing him, thankfully, nobody other then us were in the room.

My arms were being held down by Xiao, and he was sitting on my legs so I couldn't move them.

"Mr.Zhongliiiiii help meeeee" I was getting tired so I helplessly relaxed my body and fell asleep.

"...Are you kidding me." Xiao got off me and face palmed before lifting me up and placing me on the bed.

Xiao POV

"Well, that was relaxing to see." Zhongli finally spoke up.

"What do you mean Morax?" 

"It's Zhongli, remember? I no longer go by the name of Morax." Zhongli reminded me of his retirement of the Geo Archon.

"Oh... Yes." I was slightly jealous that my master was retired and I wasn't, but I also still need to protect Liyue because of my contract.

"You needn't worry about that contract, it's long fulfilled. Once you are ready, you can settle down and live peacefully in Liyue with him."

"Him?" I acted like he didn't know what Zhongli was talking about as Zhongli started laughing.

Zhongli pointed at Y/N and raised his eyebrows

"HEY DONT DO THAT-" My face turned red, he obviously knew Y/N's actual identity and overheard me confess my love to the Dendro Yaksha who happened to be Y/N.

"So, what are you planning to do?" 

"I.. I want to protect him as usual until we are both ready." My face flushed and I covered it with one hand.

Zhongli chuckled again and gave me his blessings before leaving the inn.

I turned back to Y/N's sleeping form and teleported away to go attend to my duties.

I woke up once again and realized Xiao wasn't here, time to go meet up with my old friend!

I hate this.. I want Xiao back.. 

My legs hurt from walking so far, and I couldn't teleport because my powers were still so weak. After all those years of hard work, my body still felt like a limp noodle in the hot weather.
