"So, you got some info?" Haruki asked, and I nodded. "I got loads of info. First, he's an orphan.

Second, his go-to grub is ramen. And third, he's got a crew behind him," I said, glancing down at the floor.

"Yeah, but if he's parentless, how was he even born?" Fuji questioned, and Dai playfully smacked him on the head.

"Silly! He meant his parents died," Dai explained, and Fuji innocently nodded.

"The first and third info was right, but the second one was foolish and useless," Haru remarked.

"Shut up! Every info is helpful," I snapped, causing them to giggle and me to give them a stern look.

When we got to my place, I unlocked the door and plopped down on the sofa.

"Guys, there's one more piece of info. They're having a meeting tomorrow, and his assistant was talkin' about somethin'... um..."

"Senior Ningengirai," I interrupted, "okay, but what the heck is it?"

"I dunno," I replied.

An awkward silence hung in the air for a few minutes until Dai chimed in, "If the assistant mentioned Senior Ningengirai, it means he's just a junior, not the mastermind behind this organization."

"Yeah, he's just following orders from his senior," I nodded in agreement.

"I actually had this crazy idea of disguising myself as the masked man and infiltrating their hideout to gather more intel," I shared.

"Wow, that's daring! Why didn't you go for it?" Haru asked curiously.

"Well, besides not having any weapons, I was worried about getting stuck," I explained.

"True! So maybe we should consider getting some weapons, like guns," Haru suggested.

"What the heck are you saying? We're all underage, and even you can't buy guns," Haruki interjected.

"Hey Haruki, isn't your brother a policeman?" I asked, hoping for a solution.

"Yeah, he is. Can't he help us? We can share all the information we've gathered," I proposed.

"Definitely! My brother will surely lend a hand," Haruki assured.

"Can you let me know where I can meet him?" I inquired eagerly.

"You can meet him at the police station, even right now," he replied.

"Absolutely! We should totally head over there, right?" Fuji suggested, and we all enthusiastically nodded in agreement.

I fished out my sister's car key and handed it over to Haru. Even though I know how to drive, I don't have a license.

Haru settled into the driver's seat, while the rest of us squeezed into the passenger seats. He started the car and followed Haruki's guidance.

Finally, we arrived at the police station. Haruki led the way, and we trailed behind him like adorable little ducklings, eagerly observing our surroundings.

Haruki's brother noticed our presence and hurried over to us, a concerned look on his face. "Hey, you kids here? Is everything alright?" he asked, his worry evident.

"Everything's cool, Oniisan, but we actually dug up some juicy info on that notorious killer," I spilled the beans.

"You mean that masked dude?" he guessed, giving a confirming nod.

I reached out and held Haruki's hand, feeling a gentle tap in return. "Oh, come on, don't act all cute," he muttered playfully.

Curious, he asked, "So, spill the deets. What did you find out?"

"Listen up, my friend," I began, ready to spill the tea. "He's not flying solo, he's a ramen enthusiast, and get this, he's got no folks around. They're called Ningengerai."

"Whoa, thanks for the intel, guys! But...how on earth did you gather all that?" he questioned, a mix of surprise and curiosity in his voice.

"Promise you won't scold us," Haruki said, seeking reassurance.

"Okay, I won't scold. Spill it," he replied, clearly intrigued.

"We may have done a little...stalking," Haruki confessed, causing his big brother's jaw to drop in disbelief.

"What the heck! I know you guys are mega brave, but that was hella dangerous!" he exclaimed, disappointment etched on his face.

"Oniisan! You promised," Haruki chimed in, nodding in agreement.

"Alright, let's head home," he declared, a hint of concern in his voice. "Take care," his brother added before we made our way out.

As we sat in the car, a heavy silence hung in the air, each of us lost in our own thoughts. Eventually, we arrived at my place.

After a few minutes, we found ourselves in my bedroom, gazes locked in a shared understanding.

"Guys, I've been thinking..." I began, capturing everyone's attention. "I want to become a police officer, so I can bring him to justice and make sure he pays for his crimes," I declared.

"Great idea, Aki!" Fuji exclaimed, a supportive smile on their face. "We'll join you and become officers too, standing by your side," Haru chimed in.

"Yeah!" Everyone agreed in unison. "B-but what about your own dreams?" I questioned, pointing randomly at each of them.

"Haru, you wanna be a businessman. Haruki, you've got your sights set on being a fashion designer, right? And Fuji, you've always wanted to be a polite person.

And Dai, you're all about being cool, aren't you?" I asked, acknowledging their individual aspirations.

Dai stood up and placed a hand on my shoulder, a determined look in his eyes.

"Now, it's not just your fight for justice, it's ours too," he declared, making me feel incredibly grateful for having the best friends in the world.

"Seriously, why are you all making sacrifices?" I questioned, rising to my feet. "Because you mean the world to us," Haru replied.

In an instant, everyone gathered around me, enveloping me in warm,

heartfelt hugs. I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of happiness and gratitude.

After a few minutes of lively conversations, they bid their farewells and went on their way. As for me,

I headed to bed, ready to drift off into a peaceful slumber.
