It's been a two days since Jamari has heard anything from Mara after their carnival date. It was really stressing him out he thought everything was good but he was wrong.

"Man Ghost what going on with you" Mari producer asked him as he looked over at him seeing that he was zoning out once again

"Right man you good" Slim said looking over at him as he took a pull from his blunt then passed it to Noah

"He ain't good he over their stressing cause of Mara" Noah chuckled and Mari mugged him flipping him off

"I'm good" he said sitting up on the couch rubbing his hand down his face Mara was indeed stressing him out even tho she wasn't his girl "yet".

"Ight well the song done do you wanna work on another one or.."Mari quickly shook his head

"Nah I gotta go handle something" he stood up and dapped his producer and everyone else then walked out the studio going straight to the elevator he was going to make a trip to Mara house since she didn't know how to answer the phone or text back.

Pulling up to Mara new townhouse she had got a few weeks ago, he parked his car and hopped out walking to her door, she had a code on her door which he knew so he put it in and walked in hearing singing.

He stood there with a shock face but also confused.

"Mara" Mari decided to make his self know, causing Mara to jump and turn around and quickly close her journal and look up at him shocked

"Why are you here Jamari, you scared me" she said looking everywhere else but him because she knew exactly why her was there she's been ignoring him.

"You know why li bit cmere" he said sitting on of her bar stools she had at her island counter. Mara looked at him and walked to him he pulled her in between his legs.

"Why you been ignoring me ma, did I do sum wrong or hurt yo feelings" Mari ask genuinely confused on why she stared ignoring him right after there little carnival date.

"N-no you didn't do anything wrong I-i just I don't know" she said kinda lying she actually did know why she been ignoring him but was just to scared to say it.

"I thought we agreed on no more ghosting each other, cmon ma you can talk to me tell me what's up" he used his index finger to lift her head up to where they were both looking at each other.

"Mari like after our little carnival date I was scared like that night when you said I was yours that Lowkey scared me, I'm scared to be in a relationship because of the shit that happened with manny I don't want that again at all and I know I shouldn't be comparing you to Hume because your nothing like him your better but it's hard" Ya'mara expressed looking at Mara and Mari node taking in everything she was saying.

"I understand everything you saying ma but you coulda told me, I'm nothing like that bitch ass nigga ma but actions speak louder than words so let me show you that Ya'mara let me help you love again" Mari said sincerely looking at her in the eyes

"O-okay" Mara said lowly and Mari pulled her into a passionate kiss. Soon Mari pulled back from the kiss

"Ight but hollon why you ain't never tell me you could sing" I said once we pulled back from the kiss she looked away from me blushing

"Becauseeee" she said and I chuckled at her being shy

"You sounded good ma" I smiled at her

"Thank you dooda, and I didn't tell you because 'somebody' always use to tell me my singing voice was bad so I always sung when I was alone." She said shrugging and I could tell when she said somebody that meant something deeper but I'm not gone ask her about.

"Well that person was a liar and hater you got a good voice on you imma bring you to the studio one day to record yo own song" when I said that her eyes instantly lit up with happiness

"Okay promise dooda" she held her pinky out

"Okay and we gotta promise to never ignore each other" I held out my pinky finger and she nodded and we locked our pinky fingers together then kissed them
