June 1st Time skip a month later
Today I decided to take Mara to the studio like I said I would and to ask her to go on two of my shows with me. So right now I pulling up to her house now while being in the phone with my mother
"Yeah ma I heard you I promise after my shows I'll come see y'all" I said into the phone getting out my car locking my doors and made my way to Mara front door
"I'm for real Lindell and bring Ya'mara with you we you know we having our little annual family barbecue on the 15th" i sighed once she said that not that I didn't want to bring Mara it's just my family messy as fuck and always got they hand out now since I got money and shit but, when I said I was gone be a rapper they laughed in my face except a few of them.
"I don't know about that ma you know how yo folks is especially ya sister" I said walking in Mara house and seen her coming down the stairs smiling she walked right to me and hugged me I kissed her forehead.
"I know but just come you don't have to stay long okay"
"Ight ma I'll think about it and ask her I'll talk to you later I love you" I said and Mara looked up at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Okay son I love you too" she hung up and i slipped my phone in my pocket and wrapped both my arms around Mara
"Hey baby" I kissed her lips and she smiled
"Hi dooda" she pulled away and went to go sit on the couch I followed her taking a seat next to her pulling her leg in my lap
"What you been doing all day" I asked rubbing my hand up and down her leg as she turned the tv on.
"Nothing really i cleaned up and that was it and since I don't work at the club no more I've been working on some stuff" she said putting the remote down once she found something and turned her attention to me.
"You wanna go to the studio today" i asked and her eyes lit up and nodded her head I chuckled "Ight go get ready and bring yo book of songs"
She quickly got up and rushed up the stairs I pulled my phone out and Called my producer Jason
"Hello" Jason said once the call connected
"Aye uh I'm finna pull up to the studio with Mara is that cool? you remember what I told you a couple of weeks ago" I said looking at the tv
"Yeah I remember y'all can pull up imma get everything ready" we said I goodbyes and hung up few minutes later Mara came downstairs in black Nike pro leggings and a matching top and her hair in a messy bun

"I'm ready Mari" I didn't even realize she made it all the way downstairs that's how you know I was in a daze
