Flashback
"Lena no I don't know where he is he hasn't been answering my calls" Mara stressed on the FaceTime with Selena as she sat on the couch rubbing her pregnant belly
Of course Lena didn't know she was pregnant not even destiny every time Ya'mara went around them she would wear big shirts or sweaters so they didn't know she was pregnant.
She didn't want to tell anybody because she already had too much stress on her cause of manny and his bullshit.
"Don't stress it boo just go to sleep he'll be there when you wake up" Selena said even though she didn't like Manny she knew Mara loved him with everything in her so she put her pride aside to be cordial with him.
"Okay I'll talk to you later" and with that they said "love you"and hung up
Mara decided she would just take a lil nap on the couch and hope that when she woke up manny would be home but, Mara knew he probably wouldn't be home till the next morning this has been going on for a while now since she told him she was pregnant.
When she told him she was pregnant he was so excited and promised to be there with her through everything but that was a lie he missed four doctors appointments except for one which was the very first one she had to really make sure she was pregnant and he wasn't even there to find out the gender with her that day was the day Mara really realized that he wasn't gonna be there for her or her son.
Few hours later
2:00am next morning
Mara jumped on the couch as she was watching tv when she heard the front door bust open
"Manny what the hell is wrong with you!?" She got off the couch walk to him looking up at him
"Man shut the fuck up this my house" Mara looked at him and nodded as he walked away
"Where were you manny I was waiting for you, I was worried" following him while rubbing her belly as well
"MAN MARA STOP FUCKING BUGGING ME DAMN BITCH!" He pushed me back I could smell the alcohol on his breath
"DONT YELL AT ME I WAS JUST ASKING A QUESTION!"i yelled back and he looked at her crazy and slapped her so har d she hit the floor landing right on her stomach causing her to scream out i pain roll on her side holding her stomach
"Yeah bitch I TOLD YOU BOUT TALKING TO ME CRAZY" he yelled at her as she cried blocking her stomach from his hits the best she can
"M-manny stop t-the baby" she cried out and manny laughed like a maniac look at her he took his foot back and kicked her dead in the stomach
