The Christmas party was around the corner, it had come around just so quickly you were super excited to get to the party.

"Soooo are you going to see your boyfriend?" you turned to see your friend chuckling away as she was putting her makeup on.

"First of all, not my boyfriend. Secondly I am just excited to go, please don't think that we have only met once. Yes he is cute and my type but we don't really know much about each other. I am not ready to jump into a relationship yet" you felt like you word vomited all your feelings about him.

"Oh okay, I am glad I asked because you certainly fancy him just don't want to admit it" you laughed because your best friend knew you so well.

"We best get going as we need to get to the party" you smiled as you jumped in the taxi that was waiting for you.

"Ahh this is so busy in here" you muttered as you nervously clung onto your friend as you held her tightly as you were nervous walking inside.

"Come on, stop being so nervous. If you see him, then you should talk to him. You have worked here for years, why are you panicking so much babe." she mumbled as you headed for the bar.

"I know, but they won't like couples at work. I am supposed to not work with my colleague" you huffed as you asked for a drink.

"Hi" you turned to your left as Pedri was standing beside you.

"Oh hi" you laughed, feeling like all the heat in your body had come out of nowhere making you feel incredibly hot all of a sudden.

"You look beautiful, I would offer to buy you a drink but guess you already have won" Pedri laughed nervously as he scratched his neck, feeling embarrassed now as you sensed your friend has left your side.

"Oh thanks, erm yeah" you let out a nervous laugh.

Shit. You thought, you had really embarrassed yourself here.

"Come on Pedri, why don't you just kiss her already? you have been waiting for weeks now. You are in loveeeeeeeeee" the boys all shouted as Pedri went bright red.

"I'm sorry about that, ignore them" Pedri did his best to stutter out.

"Are they telling the truth though? They seemed pretty adamant about it that is all. They must know something that I don't" you replied.

"Hmm dunno about that" Pedri casually shrugged as he sipped on his drink before putting it down as he looked straight at you.

"Okay maybe they were telling the truth" Pedri smiled, which took you by complete surprise.

He looked straight up and noticed the mistletoe above you both.

"That's funny isn't it" Pedri pointed as he leaned forward at the same time as you as you went to kiss him.

As you removed yourself from his lips, the crowd cheered.

Making the pair of you really embarrassed now.

"Well guess everyone knows, shall we mingle with everyone else?" he smirked as you grabbed onto his hand as you enjoyed the rest of the party.
