The autumn nights were slowly rolling in, the darker and colder nights were gradually arriving.

You were already set for Autumn as you had been shopping having bought everything pumpkin as well as being pumpkin scented.

When you came back from shopping one afternoon, Mason's reaction was you coming home with what felt like a million bags of autumn homeware was a picture.

"So while I have been recovering from an injury, you have been shopping since there have been many new arrivals coming into the living room?" he laughed as he picked up the pumpkin candle beside him.

"Maybe I have, maybe you just haven't been observant" you teased.

"Oh haven't I? hmm funny because I seem to remember seeing you hiding lots of shopping bags so maybe you need to do better" Mason cheekily replies.

"Hmm okay, anyway. Do you think the candles are nice though? This one is vanilla pumpkin I believe, I had to get it because how cute is it" you told him as he simply nodded, clearly not as interested as you were in your choice of candle.

"Anyway, I have put some dinner on I was in the mood for soup because it is freezing out there" you grabbed your bag as you told Mason.

"Sounds perfect, yes it is really chilly today" you told him.

"Shall we watch a movie or a series whilst we eat our soup?" Mason asked as he scrolled through the TV.

"Yes that sounds a great idea, should be ready soon if you want to get ready for dinner or something" you smiled as he got up as he brushed past you as he pecked a kiss on your forehead.

"God I love you" he whispered as he walked away, leaving you to blush.

"Love you too Masey" you grinned as you felt butterflies in your stomach as you headed to the kitchen to serve up dinner.
