They lied to me!

Max is mad!

Max had dozed off after they eat. He wakes up and hears a lot of noises. The other brothers have made it home. Zack is trying to calm them down, but they will not shut up. Max is still cuddled up against Sam and holding his hand. Zack is getting pissy. Max opens his eyes and stares at everyone. All brothers will be part of the conversation, Zack(Z), Grayson(G), Jackson(J), Caleb(C), Sam(S), and Max(M). 

(Z) I said try to be quiet and everyone woke Max up.

(M) It's ok, I know they were worried. I am not mad. 

(Z) That is not the point baby. Amy said you need plenty of rest. 

(M) I am sorry.

(G) No sir, you do not apologize. We are the ones who are sorry. We were loud and selfish and woke you up. We should have listened. 

(C) I am sorry. 

(J) Me too. 

(M) It is ok, I promise. I am not mad with anyone. 

(G) Let's go eat, I brought yall three a dessert from DQ and brought us some food and a dessert from there.

(S) Thank you Gray. 

(Z) That was nice. 

(G) I would do anything for all of my loves. 

(C) I can help you to the table Max.  

(Z) I need the brace. Everyone else head to the table and sit. Choose a place for Max to sit. 

(M) What kind of dessert did you get me?

(J) We got you a snickers cheesecake blizzard. Caleb said you tried his and loved it. 

(M) I did. 

(C) I told you he would like it. 

(M) Thank you, Caleb. 

(C) You're welcome. 

Grayson hands Zack the brace and the pain medicine. Zack gets out one of the stronger pain pills. He knows this is fixing to hurt. The other boys have walked into the kitchen and are waiting. Zack grabs a water and comes and sits with Max. 

(Z) Ok baby, I am going to slide this shirt off. 

(M) I hate this part. 

(Z) Why?

(M) My body is hideous. There are scars everywhere. It's also black and blue and ugly. 

(Z) You and I will talk about that later tonight. Is that ok? 

(M) Yeah. 

Zack slides the shirt off and Max has tears. Zack starts putting the brace on. He tightens it up. Is brings pain to Max almost instantly. Max starts crying and Zack hands him the medicine. Max takes it and stares at Zack. 

(Z) I know it will hurt for a little bit. It will just hold pressure not letting the ribs move a lot. It will start helping with the pain a lot more. I promise, it will hurt at first. Give it thirty minutes and with the brace and medication you will be feeling better. 

(M) Ok, thank you for caring and helping me. 

(Z) I will always care about you. 

The boys get up and head to the kitchen. They all sit down. Sam had put all the ice-cream in the freezer. He gets up and grabs everyone's. The other brothers are almost done with their food. He passes them around and they all sit. Max has a face, and everyone looks concerned. 

(Z) Max has to wear a brace. Amy texted and said it would hurt the first few times. She said do the stronger pain medicine and then within thirty minutes the brace would be apply pressure and hold the ribs in place. She said Max would get a great deal of relief.
