Bacon and Slender were very close but now Slender only has eyes for CNP due to her potion. Bacon is heartbroken over Slender's betrayal.

Bacon searched frantically for Slender, needing to understand why he suddenly seemed to vanish. Wandering the parks in tears, he spotted the couple kissing passionately through the restaurant window.

His breath hitched in agony. Slender had promised they'd always be together. Had it all meant nothing? Stumbling away brokenly, Bacon made it to the riverbank before collapsing in gut-wrenching sobs.

Slender hesitated, torn between duty and new infatuation. But the clarity in Bacon’s red eyes, lacking their usual warmth, seized his former heart. He knew what must be done. Slowly, Slender removed the ring and handed it back with a sad nod.

Bacon accepted it, pocketing the bittersweet memento to finalize what was lost. Then he turned and marched stiffly away, head high though aching inside. The closure allowed him to move on at last from a love now fragmented beyond repair.

While remembrance kept scabs from fully healing, with time Bacon knew he would survive this pain. And one day, he might find happiness again, this time with someone who’d stay faithful through anything.
