Lauren's pov

I woke up to my alarm ringing loud asf.  6:30 

I'm so tired 

I sighed loudly and walked out of my bedroom, heading to the bathroom and did my morning routine 

After I was done with my routine . I went to my closet I picked out a blue short dress  and added some make up

I walked down the stairs, went to the kitchen because I'm so hungry 

I started getting the ingredients  out to make  Acai bowl

Xavier still asleep , I will make him something later 

And not even 5 minutes after , my phone ringed 

I glanced at my phone and it's my mom

Oh my gosh I'm totally getting earful of bullshit from her 

I answered 

"Lauren Claire Everhart " She said sternly 

"Good morning mom"

" Don't mom me , What the hell did I just  found out? divorce Lauren really?"

I sighed 

"Well are you gonna answer?" She said angry 

"Mom we're just not pleased with each other anymore " I said annoyingly 

" You could've still tried and figured things out , you have a child" 

"Wow thanks I didn't know I have a child" I spatted 

"Watch it Lauren " She said 

I rolled my eyes

I can tell she's trying her best to not burst out of anger

" I just signed divorce yesterday , Matteo asked his lawyer for it"

"He WHAT? "

"Yep you heard it"

"What did you do?"

Ofc what did I do not what he did

Mom is fond of Matteo like I could guarantee she loves him more than me

"I had my need ma , He's never home so I just go ou-

"And it's right to cheat on your husband ? Is that how I raised you?" I can tell she already having the death stare on her

"Mom-

"No Lauren it's not cutting it , you do realize you just lost an awesome husband well ex husband and a son . What were you thinking?"

I stayed silent not knowing what to say 

"I hope you come back to your senses Lauren , So who's Xavier living with?"
