Xavier's pov

I shifted in bed starting to wake up. I wasn't sure when exactly I fell asleep but I did and I feel good 

I sat up and rubbed my eyes looking

I sat there for a moment before swinging my legs off the side of

the bed and setting them on the floor. I stood up and made my way to

the hallway and sat down on the stairs and I wanna slide down but as papa 

says I know better than  that . I

slide down the railing once but papa saw me do that one

time, and scolded me he said if he caught me doing it again , he would spank me 

And that's scary when papa is angry

  Anyway I could see  Mama

I went over to mama 

"Hi sweet boy" Mama cooed at me softly

"Did you have a good sleep?" She asked as she picked me up and took me in her arms

 I didn't argue about mama holding me since I still wasn't

fully awake and wanted to be held anyway like I often did after waking

up.

"Yeah..." I mumbled softly and laid my head on her chest

 Mama  had put paw patrol on for me and  mama  now scrolling through her phone

After few mins , mama turned off her phone and looked at me

She started playing with my hair

"Xavier baby, Your papa wants to see you. do you want that?" Mama asked

I do want papa , I miss him but what if he hurt me again 

He was so mean and he also didn't let me explain myself 

He just believed that rude lady 

What if she will be there again and papa be angry at me?

"Xavier ? I know you're scared but you won't be alone. I will stay with you" Mama said 

I just nodded 

"Also your aunt and uncle would be there , you'll love it" Mama said smiling

Monday

I got up and get out of bed mama woke me up telling me papa on his way

I went downstairs and ate breakfast now I'm just in my room playing

I miss my old room it was big and I had play room which is  at papa's house

I heard the doorbell ringed and a couple of voices downstairs 

Should I go down? I don't know If I want

"Xavier , your dad's here " Mama shouted 

Ugh just be brave Xavier just like how aunt Isabella goes out cheering at the football game

She's brave so you have to be brave but I'm a child I can be a little scared 

I won't be alone with papa . Mama is there too

I walked down the stairs and saw Aunt Isabella and mama talking

I looked around and didn't see papa or uncle Kaden

I walked and held on to mama's skirt 

"Oh you scared me , come out Xavier " Mama said pushing me from behind her
