Third person pov

There Matteo decided to just sit and get some work done as he  patiently waited as his son napped

1 hour later

It was a little after one when Xavier finally woke up with an adorable

puppy like stretch and yawn. Matteo immediately heard it then

He  put down his phone  and sat down on the bed next to his  son

"Heybud did you have a nice nap?" Matteo asked quietly

"Uh huh" Xavier  nodded as he tiredly crawled out of bed and over to his papa's lap

He then cuddle up to his father's warm chest and smiled 

"That's good, but Xavier  can I talk to you about something?" Matteo asked playing with his hair

He's glad his son giving him a chance 

Xavier  sleepily nodded his head, still waking up a bit from his nap

Matteo stayed quiet trying to put words together 

"What is it papa?" Xavier asked innocently 

"I think you need to go therapy you need to talk to someone " Matteo said

"I can talk to you though" Xavier said confused 

"I know you can talk to me but sometimes you might need someone else . It just to help you with  what you been through" Matteo explained 

Xavier was nervous about this whole therapy but he also love and trust his papa ,He wouldn't let him do anything bad. he promised 

 Xavier decided that he would do it, so he looked at his papa in the eyes.

"Ok I'll do it" Xavier  said 

"Are you sure ?" Matteo asked again, wanting to be absolutely sure. he wouldn't force his son to but he's glad he agreed to go

Xavier  nodded his head with a smile

"Ok then we'll go after 2 days " Matteo said as he hugged his son tight

"You'll be there right ?" Xavier asked in hope

"Yes I will kiddo" Matteo said kissing his head

After 2 days

It 10:30 and Matteo and Xavier  arrived exactly on time to the session 

Immediately they were greeted by Mrs. Miller who looked at Matteo like a friend would do

Mrs. Miller is Matteo's friend from high school. She met Xavier couple of times 

"Matteo! Xavier ! You made it!" Mrs. Miller  said as she hugged the two

warmly.

"We tried as best we could to be on time  but Xavier's a little nervous I'm afraid" Matteo said as he stroked his son's head

"Oh no are you feeling a little anxious Xavier ?" Mrs. Miller asked compassionately

Xavier  timidly nodded his head as he clutched his papa's suit coat

"What are you anxious about?" Mrs. Miller  asked sweetly

"Are you gonna ask scary questions Mrs. Miller ?" Xavier  asked nervously

"Of course not Xavier , all I would like to hear about is how much you and your daddy love each other even .There's a lot of little boys and girls just like you and I want to help them feel like they can be love and feel safe just like you and help them not feel so sad Would you like to help me do that Xavier ?"

 Xavier looked into Mr. Miller eyes and then at his papa for  reassurance it was gonna be okay Matteo nodded his head and gave him a smile, which boosted Xavier's confidence and bravery enough to help him.

"Yes Mrs. Miller " Xavier  nodded with a smile

"Thank you Xavier , you're a very brave little boy." Mrs. Miller  said gratefully as he warmly rubbed Xavier's head

Matteo watched as he son walked away with Mrs. Miller

After 35 mins

Xavier walked towards his papa with Mr. Miller following him behind

"So?" Matteo said standing up

"It was a good session right Xavier?" Mrs. Miller smiled 

Xavier nodded 

"Thank you Chole I owe you one" Matteo said

"Oh no problem  Mat you're  a friend" Chole said smiling

"See ya later Xavier . Drive safe " Chole said nodding before leaving

"Ice cream?" Matteo asked 

Xavier looked up at his papa with joy in his eyes

"Yes! but I get your ice cream too" Xavier said with a puppy eyes

"Mhm sure " Matteo said 

He will aways cherish moments like these
