Matteo's pov

"He still hasn't finished yet sir" Annalise told me. I just gave her slight nod and she left

Xavier is being disobedient today first, grabbing the gun in office and second making me wait

I stood up after few minutes deciding to go get to him

A small knock on my office door made me stop and I sat back down knowing who it was

"Come in" I said and waited as Xavier slowly opened the door and walked in.

His head was down and I can tell him trying not looking at mee.

I don't want him to be scared of me again like what it happened before but he did something wrong

He might do it again and hurt himself

"Come here" I said sternly

He slowly started walking towards me and I moved my chair back so he would stand between me and the desk

He stood right in front of me finally looked up at me

What am I going to do with him? What should I do with him?

"Papa l-" he tried to explain

"Do you know how dangerous that gun is?" I asked

"Yes" He mumbled

I rubbed my forehead

"So you knew.. and yet still held it " I watched only for his little fists clench his shorts.

"P-papa I didn't mean to touch it" He cried

"Okay why did you make me wait then and Annalise too" I said raising an eyebrow

He stayed silent and a sob came out of his mouth

"I don't like being disobeyed especially If it's my son" He stood there awkwardly and I was about to bring up the punishment part

"Everybody makes mistakes and they get punished for it" He s muttered

"Good thing we agree on that everyone makes mistakes and they get their punishment "

"Go to sleep . we'll deal with it in the morning " I said

"Night papa" He mumbled walking out

"Good night."

Gosh I sound just like how my dad is

I hate talking to him the way my dad did with me

I sighed leaning back into my chair further

Xavier's Pov

This was bad. Really really bad. papa thinks I'm bad

The dinner is not going well. We both are quiet and I am having hard time to eat my food.

Today is weekend which means that Annalise and everyone else leave after dinner, earlier than usual

Which also means that I won't be play with them after to avoid meeting papa.

I pushed around steak's sliced pieces I lost my appetite

My heart almost jumped out of me when I heard dad's chair move back he stood up

"Come to my office after you finish" He said and threw the napkin on plate.

As he was leaving I thought to myself that I am going to take my time

He is probably going to yell at me
