I can not believe my eyes. It's Richard, in his normal everyday clothes. Tears form in my eyes. Happy tears. I walk over to him and he takes a step back. I stop walking.

"Richard, it's me. This isn't what it looks like..." I start, but I can hear my own words. Richard does not understand me.

Robin finally catches his breath and looks at Richard, "She is a monster!"

My happy tears change into tears of the sadness. A monster? Is that how they see me? I shake my head at Richard, trying to tell him no.

"Look what she did!" Robin points around us.

I look around as well, the bank building is destroyed. There are cars smashed from us throwing each other around like dolls. I look back at Richard, tears are falling down my cheeks.

Richard looks back at me. He pulls his phone out and is typing on it, "Gordon. This is Grayson. I need some backup."

"No, no, no! Richard, please! I know you! I know that you know me! Please Richard. You have to understand me!" I plead.

Richard comes closer to me and takes hold of my handcuffs. I am assuming so I don't flee from the cops. I stand there looking down at my handcuffs. How they once look new, they are now dented and dirty.

Red and blue lights flash in the distance. Commissioner Gordon is on his way. Commissioner Gordon! He must remember me! And Babs! There is still hope. His police cruiser comes to a halt in front of Richard and I.

"Who do we have here?" Commissioner Gordon asks Richard when he gets out of the car.

Great. All of my hope is washed away.

"I don't know. She speaks a weird language. Nothing that I ever heard before." Richard explains, "Robin found her."

Commissioner Gordon looks around the scene, "It seems like they got into some type of altercation."

"Correct." Richard takes hold of my arm, and brings me to the back seat of the car. I try to resist at first, but Richard tightens his grip. Commissioner Gordon opens the back door for Richard, and I slide myself in. Commissioner Gordon closes the door, which makes me jump.

"What are you going to do with her?" Richard asks.

"Well, it seems like she is a threat. I will probably request her to be sent to Arkham. Due to it being a holiday, it may take a while." Commissioner Gordon informs Richard.

Richard nods, and heads back to the alleyway. I see that he has a car, just like the commissioner's, parked there. What all have I missed?

Commissioner Gordon gets in the driver seat. He looks at me through the rearview mirror and sighs. He puts the car in drive and we make way to the police station. I see that Richard is following us as well.

"Why is he following us?" I ask, but instantly remember that no one can understand me.

"Richard is right. I never heard that language before either." Commissioner Gordon tells me.

I lean back into my seat and watch as the buildings pass. Nothing has really changed in the five years I have been gone. There are a few new stores and restaurants, but Gotham still looks the same. Dark and gloomy. We get to the police station. Commissioner Gordon gets out first, then helps me out. Richard parks behind and joins us as well. The both lead me into the station.

We enter the building and I notice a girl with red hair, pulled back away her face. Babs! I break free from Commissioner Gordon's grip and fly over to Babs.

"Babs! Babs! It's me! Please tell me that you remember me!" I yell causing her to jump out of her seat.

"Dad! Who is this? What language is she speaking?" Babs looks at me closer, "What is she wearing? Where did you find her?"
