The old mansion stood on a hill overlooking the town. It had been in the family for generations, but now it was all that was left of the family fortune. The last of the line, a young woman named Sarah, had inherited the house and its contents.

Sarah was a quiet and unassuming young
woman. She had never been interested in
the family fortune, and she was content to
live in the old house and keep to herself.
But one day, everything changed.

Sarah was in the library when she heard a
noise outside. She went to investigate and
found a man standing on the lawn. He was
dressed in black and wearing a hat that
obscured his face.

"What are you doing here?" Sarah asked

"I'm here to collect your inheritance," the
man said.

"My inheritance?" Sarah asked. "But I don't
have any inheritance."

"Oh, but you do," the man said. "Your
father left you everything.

"That's impossible," Sarah said. "My father
died years ago."

"He did," the man said. "But before he
died, he changed his will. He left
everything to you."

"Why would he do that?" Sarah asked.

"I don't know," the man said. "But the will
is legal and binding. So if you want to
keep your inheritance, you'll have to come
with me."

Sarah didn't know what to say. She had
never met this man before, and she didn't
trust him. But she also knew that she had
no choice but to go with him if she
wanted to keep her inheritance.

The man led Sarah to a car that was
parked on the road. He opened the door
for her and she got in. Then he got in the
driver's seat and started the engine.

The car drove away from the house and
into the town. Sarah looked out the window as they passed the familiar shops and houses. She wondered if she would ever see them again.

The car drove for a long time. Finally, it
pulled up in front of a large building. The
man got out of the car and opened
Sarah's door.

"This is where I leave you," he said. "Go
inside and they'll take care of you."

Sarah got out of the car and looked up at
the building. It was a hospital.

"What's going on?" she asked.

"You're going to be staying here for a
while," the man said. "There's something
wrong with you, and they're going to help
you"

"Wrong with me?" Sarah asked. "But I'm
fine"

"No, you're not," the man said. "You're
sick. But don't worry, they'll fix you up."

Sarah didn't know what to say. She felt
dizzy and her head was spinning. She
didn't know if she was going to be sick or
not.

The man took her arm and led her into the
hospital. He walked her to the front desk
and told the receptionist that she was a
patient. The receptionist took Sarah's
name and address and then led her to a
room.

The room was small and plain. There was a
bed, a nightstand, and a chair. Sarah sat
down on the bed and the receptionist left.

Sarah sat there for a long time, staring at
the blank walls. She didn't know what to
do or think. She just felt scared and alone.

After a while, the door opened and a
woman came in. She was wearing a white
coat and she had a stethoscope around
her neck.

"Hello," the woman said. "My name is Dr.
Smith. I'm going to be your doctor while
you're here"

"What's wrong with me?" Sarah asked.

"You have a rare condition,' Dr. Smith said.
"It's called 'inheritance theft.' It's a condition that makes people want to steal other people's inheritances."

"I don't understand," Sarah said. "I don't
want to steal anyone's inheritance"

"I know," Dr. Smith said. "But that's what
the condition does. It makes you want to
steal even if you don't want to."

"So how do I get rid of it?" Sarah asked.

"There's no cure," Dr. Smith said. "But we
can treat it. We can give you medication
to help control the symptoms."

"I don't want medication," Sarah said. "I
want to be cured."
