(Tw mention of throat cut open)

It was a dark and stormy night. The rain
beat down on the roof of the old mansion
and the wind howled through the trees
Inside, a man lay dead in his bed, his
throat cut.

The police were called, and they quickly
determined that the murder had been
committed by someone inside the house.
The windows and doors were all locked
and there was no sign of forced entry.

The only suspect was the man's wife, but
she had an alibi. She had been at a dinner
party with friends at the time of the
murder.

The police were baffled. They had no idea
how the murderer had gotten into the
house, or how they had gotten away
without leaving any evidence.

The case was eventually closed, and the
murder was never solved.

A few years later, a new family moved into
the old mansion. The husband was a
writer, and his wife was an artist. They had
two young children, a boy and a girl.

The family quickly settled into their new
home, and they loved living in the old
mansion. The children loved playing in the
attic and the parents loved the view from
the tower.

One day, the writer was working in his
study when he heard a noise from the
attic. He went up to investigate, and he
found the door to the attic open.

He went inside, and he saw a young
woman standing in the middle of the
room. She was wearing a white dress, and
her hair was long and black.

The woman turned to the writer and
smiled. Hello, she said. My name is
Elizabeth.

The writer was stunned. He had never
seen the woman before.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"I'm the one who killed your husband," she
said.

The writer was horrified. "What?" he said.
"Why?"

"Because he deserved it," she said. "He was
a cruel man"

The writer didn't know what to say. He
just stared at the woman in shock.

"I'm going to kill you now," she said.

The writer backed away from her. "No! he
said. Please don't!"

The woman raised her hand, and a knife
appeared in her hand. She lunged at the
writer, and he screamed.

The writer woke up in a cold sweat. He
had been having the same nightmare
again.

He got out of bed and went to the
window. He looked out at the storm, and
he thought about the woman
in his dream.

He didn't know if she was real or not, but
he knew that he had to find out.

The next day, the writer went to the police
station. He told the police about his
dream, and he asked them to investigate.

The police were skeptical at first, but they
agreed to look into it.

A few days later, the police came back to
the writer. They told him that they had
found something interesting.

They had found a knife hidden in the attic
of the old mansion. The knife was covered
in blood, and it was the same type of knife
that had been used to kill the writer's
husband.

The writer was stunned. He couldn't
believe it.

The police told him that they had also
found a fingerprint on the knife. The
fingerprint belonged to Elizabeth.

The writer was arrested, and he was
charged with murder.

At his trial, the writer's lawyer argued
that he was innocent. He said that the
writer had been having a nightmare, and
that he had accidentally killed his wife in
his sleep.

The jury didn't believe the lawyer's
story. They found the writer guilty of
murder, and he was sentenced to life in
prison.

The writer spent the rest of his life in
prison. He never saw his children again,
and he never learned the truth about
Elizabeth.

But one thing was for sure. The locked
room murder had finally been solved
