"I will kill this person for waking me up so early in the morning." Beomgyu grumbled, walking downstairs as he ruffled his hair to make him look a bit more presentable.
It was currently nine-thirty on a Sunday morning and Beomgyu was pissed.
Why would anyone want to come to their house so early? That too on a Sunday?
Beomgyu puffed his cheeks out before opening their front door, his eyes narrowed into a squint as he tried to adjust the scorching light from the outside.
"Jake?" Beomgyu questioned. What was Jake doing here.
"Oh hey, buddy!" Jake smiled at him with full enthusiasm, grabbing Beomgyu into a hug. Causing the taller to awkwardly pat his bag in the hug. "I'm here to meet Taehyun."
"Taehyun?" Beomgyu asked, now fully awake as he stepped aside to let Jake enter, closing the door after him. "Why so early, though?"
"Oh?" Jake turned around and tilted his head. According to Beomgyu, Jake strangely resembled their golden retriever dog. "I thought he scheduled for meeting up at nine-thirty am?"
Beomgyu huffed before putting on a fake smile. "Oh, He did? Then I guess I should wake him up, shouldn't I? Till then, you can take a seat on the couch."
"Oh okay," Jake sat down on their grey couch, roaming his eyes around the house. "Their house is really pretty." He muttered to himself.
Meanwhile, Beomgyu angrily walked upstairs, too riled up because of his ruined sleep. He harshly opened the door, cringing at the door slamming against the wall himself because it was too early for this shit.
He walked towards the bed and snatched the blanket away from Taehyun, who immediately squirmed like a dying fish. "It's cold~" The younger whined, his eyes still closed as a pout found its way on his lips.
And Beomgyu may or may not have gotten distracted by it.
Fortunately, he managed to snap back to his consciousness and tried to nudge Taehyun awake. "Wake up! Jake is waiting downstairs!"
And as if immediately, Taehyun sat upright on the bed with widened eyes. "What?"
"You idiot," Beomgyu hissed. "Why would you make plans with him so early in the morning? To ruin my beauty sleep?"
"Oh shit, I probably don't looked good right now!" Taehyun fumbled off from the bed, before entering the bathroom to probably wash up and at least look a bit presentable in front of his friends.
"You don't look good most of the times!" The younger heard Beomgyu say from the bathroom, silently flipping him off from the closed door, even when his husband couldn't see him.
He hurriedly washed his face and brushed his teeth, in which he accidently smacked himself in his gums with his toothbrush.
What a way to start a Sunday morning, really.
He finally came out of the bathroom, drying his face with his face towel, paying no attention to Beomgyu as he searched for his moisturizer. Taehyun, in contrast to earlier, gently applied the moisturizer on his face.
Why?
"It's important to take care of your skin, folks." Taehyun said, winking at the mirror before walking out of the room.
Well, he was about to when he felt a warm hand grabbing his wrist, turning him around. Taehyun gave Beomgyu a confused look. But he wouldn't deny that he felt like his legs were going to go numb due to how Beomgyu was staring at him.
And the fact that the stare wasn't even that special. Beomgyu was just blankly looking at him.
Sigh, people do go crazy in love.
Beomgyu took a step towards Taehyun before adjusting the t-shirt on Taehyun's shoulders properly.
Taehyun looked at him, his head tilted in confusion. "What?"
"Your collarbones were showing." Beomgyu said in a monotone tone before calmly walking out of the room, leaving Taehyun standing in the middle of the room.
"What's with my collarbones showing..?" Taehyun asked himself, feeling very flustered and confused. But then, he rushed out of the bedroom when he realized that his friend was waiting for him.
"Hi Jake!" Taehyun cheerily greeted Jake as he came down from the last step of the staircase.
Beomgyu gave a stink eye to Taehyun's figure, which was hugging Jake. "Wow, he never talked to me like that." He muttered to himself, but the two heard it.
"What?" Taehyun asked.
"Nothing." Beomgyu then flipped another page of a random magazine that he found on the coffee table.
"You want something to eat? I can make breakfast." Taehyun suggested as he walked towards the kitchen, Jake following him.
"Oh, can I?" Jake asked with shimmering eyes. He had tried his best to get up early this morning so he could avoid Heeseung and Sunghoon, whom he shared an apartment with.
And honestly, a tip from Jake, never share an apartment with a couple.
"I bet you didn't had any breakfast this morning, did you?" Taehyun asked as he took out the packet of bread from on top of the counter. He frowned when Jake didn't reply. "C'mon Jake, I told you not to skip breakfast! You know how bad it is for you?"
And when Beomgyu heard of this, he felt his heart being hammered. He thought that Taehyun only scolded him for not having his food properly.
Seems like he did to everyone, huh.
Beomgyu knows he's being silly, but he doesn't get the fact that why he was getting upset over such a trivial matter.
"Hyung!" Taehyun's voice broke him out from his train of thoughts. "I made breakfast, come eat!"
With a sigh, Beomgyu dejectedly dragged himself to the kitchen to sit on the stool of the kitchen counter. "What are you making?"
"French toast and scrambled eggs. Plus coffee."
"I don't drink-"
"I know, hyung." Taehyun interrupted him. "I was just going to make your delicious green tea or something."
And Beomgyu's heart never felt warmer than now.
He didn't notice that Jake was fondly looking at them. 'They don't realize it, but they act so domestic.' He thought, fidgeting with the thread on his clothes.
He knows he's being selfish, but he can't help but wonder that would him and the other two dumbasses could be like this?
Ever?
