"Beomgyu hyung," Taehyun called out when he walked downstairs after taking a fresh shower. "I'm gonna go out with Jake, okay?" He informed the older as he dried his hair with a towel, walking towards the kitchen to drink some water as he was feeling parched.
Meanwhile Beomgyu's fingers, which were controlling the controller, froze.
Jake, who was also playing a match with him, looked at him in confusion when he felt that Beomgyu's character wasn't attacking back. "Hyung?"
Beomgyu looked at Jake and give him a tight-lipped smile. "Sorry, I realized something. Let's continue?"
After two rounds of the playing, Beomgyu tossed the controller on the space on the couch next to him. "I quit."
"You're just bad at playing games, hyung." Jake chuckled, placing down the controller on his lap to crack his knuckles.
"Wait," Beomgyu looked at Jake with his eyes squinted. "When did you learn how to play video games? I remember that you sucked so bad at them."
"Well, I guess that's the advantage of living with two gamers." Jake shrugged. "Sunghoon and Heeseung hyung, man." Jake reminded Beomgyu when he saw the long haired's confusion.
"You're living with them?" Beomgyu asked in astonishment.
Jake hummed. "We decided to get an apartment near the office we work at."
"Eh, that's nice!" Beomgyu cheered. "You live with them and work at the same place? That's nice for you."
"Well, not really.." Jake mumbled under his breath, but Beomgyu heard him.
"What?" Beomgyu tilted his head. "You don't have a crush on them anymore?"
Jake shook his head. "It's not like that, it's kind of complicated, you know?"
"Ah, I get it." Beomgyu leaned back onto the couch. "Where are you two going anyways?" He couldn't help but ask. He oddly felt curious about the two.
"Oh, I don't know." Jake sheepishly replied. "We'll decide on our way there."
Beomgyu nodded, and then saw Taehyun walking towards them.
Taehyun placed a hand on Jake's shoulder. "Ready to go?"
"Yep," Jake got up from the couch, dusting his oversized jean jacket. "Bye Beomgyu hyung!" Jake cheerfully waved at him before running towards the main door.
Beomgyu chuckled. It seemed like no one's personality had changed for the past few years. He was glad that Jake and Kai were still their mood makers.
"I'll see you tonight, hyung." Taehyun looked at him, waving his hands. "Don't make a mess, okay? I don't want the house in burning flames by the time I come back." Taehyun joked, but got weirded out when Beomgyu wasn't firing something back at him.
All he receive was a hum by Beomgyu. And the older was on his way to go upstairs.
"I guess, he woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.." Taehyun muttered to himself as he saw the disappearing figure of Beomgyu.

"Really? A mall?" Jake asked blankly when they got dropped off by Taehyun's driver in front of a mall. "Out of all the places, you chose this place to talk?"
"Hey, in my defense, we can even shop while talking!" Taehyun defended himself, grabbing Jake's wrist to walk inside the mall.
"Whatever," Jake rolled his eyes as he was dragged inside the wall by the older. He could do some shopping now.
