From the Ashes

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑼𝒛𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒊 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏.

Saryn made her way towards the Academy,strolling down the main road with an air of confidence and enthusiasm she hadn't possessed before.

Something was in the air today,she reckoned.That something was success...And dango.

Another one of her pleasures was the sweet marinade of dango.She'd wandered into the place in search of the delectable food,and had met a rather polarized group of shinobi in turn.

Her eyes darted around the place,settling as she spotted the two purplettes in her life,joined by their other joñin companion.

"Chibi-chan!You're here early." It was Anko Mitarashi,a cold woman,but an even scarier one.She worked in the T&I division of shinobi,they'd met through the other woman that shared her hair color.

They knew each other well enough that her chibi poke rolled off her back like water on a slide,"Hm,and here I thought you'd be treating me dango today.I am about to graduate from the Academy you know." She took a seat in front the trio,nodding to Yugao and Kurenai to her right.

Now that piqued the others interest.Especially Kurenai,who'd been slotted to man one of twelve genin teams.

Nevertheless Yugao smiled,ruffling the girls wild hair as she scowled emptily."is that so? I'll have to find something to reward you when you do,it seems."

Saryn nodded to the woman that had become a pseudo sister.She'd never forgotten her as the one to reach her hand to her,back at that shoreline.

The voice of Kurenai brought her back,crimson eyes meeting her white ones."You sure are confident that you'll be a ninja after today.Im assuming you know of the test?" Saryn looked at her with no small amount of confidence.

"Indeed,I've never felt more prepared to do three useless jutsu to get my headband." It was almost laughable,Saryn figured.But that laugh stopped when the woman dropped the bomb on her.

"No Saryn-san...I'm talking about the test from your jōnin sensei,the actual test that determines if you'll be a Genin or not." Kurenai watched the girls face twist in calculation and disbelief...before she shrugged.

"To hell with it,I'm ready for anything at this point.Its not like I've been training for nothing." Here she leaned a bit closer,almost uncharacteristic for the teenager.

"...you think you know who'll be on which team?" The three women's laughs filled the entire restaurant,at the expense of a certain Kaguya.

Soon enough Saryn arrived at the doors of the Academy,a full stomach and a clear mind.She had prepared for this day well over 2 years ago.

All her efforts lead up to this day,and she wasn't one to shy away from the moment.

It was another boring day at the academy for Naruto.He'd entered the class and took his usual seat next to the broodmaster.

As he sat down,he and all his other classmates quickly looked to the door,as a blur of pink and yellow shot into the room.

"IM FIRST.TAKE THAT INO-PIG"The pink one yelled,a cocky smile on her face."I was first actually,billboard brow.So I'll be taking that seat next to Sasuke-kun."Sakura rushed infront of her,before coming infront of Naruto,who was next to him.
