Fine (Akashi x Reader)

As you walked down the sidewalks in town, you stared at the stores from left to right, window shopping at the moment for your dress. Your friend pointed out the store "Guess" and both of you went on inside, checking out the dresses.

"I at least want either a white dress, black dress or red dress to wear." you spoke to your best friend. "Oh, come on, (First Name), really?" She rolled her eyes, smiling. "You know it," you blew a kiss at her and she giggled.

"White for the present Kaneki, and black for the previous Kaneki...Red for Akashi." She giggled and sighed out. "Of course, oh, and maybe polka dotted dress of white and black for Sasaki. But, might as well get a dress that matches my boyfriend's hair~ He'd be jealous if he heard that I was choosing different colours just for an anime character's hair." you shrugged, skipping towards a helper.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for a dress that's either black, white or red." you totally ignored the fact of "jealous Akashi" and went ahead asking for black or white. "And what's the occasion?" She asked sweetly.

"It's my graduation," you smiled sheepishly, scratching your cheek anxiously. "Well, I can show you some of the dresses." She showed you around, showing you multiple dresses. But, none of them interested you.

The helper decided to bring you upstairs and showed you the 50% section. "Just let me know if you need anything~"

You looked at one of the dresses and already thought it was great one. Your best friend chose out another one with a polka dot design. "Sasaki~" she held up the dress, swaying it back and forth as if she was trying to tempt you.

"Adorable Kaneki~" you smiled the same and held up the black dress.

You tried both of them on, finding that the polka dotted one didn't look as good as the black one, "Hm~" you turned from side to side in the dress. "I like this one a lot." You twirled and placed your hands on your hips once you faced (Best Friend's Name).

"First, let's go see other stores to see if you like anything else, okay?"

"Okay." you nodded and went to the same helper, "Uhm, I'd like to put this on hold." you smiled as she nodded, "What name would you like this under?"

Before you could speak, your best friend spoke up, "Akashi." Your eyes went wide. "Don't thank me...you're going to marry him anyways~ Might as well get use to it, (First Name)~" your cheeks flared at her statement.

You left the store shortly afterwards, going into H&M, Ardennes, Forever 21 and etc. Though, none of the other dresses matched your interest in the one.

You went back to Guess and purchased the dress, heading to Akashi's house shortly after due to his request for you to stay.

You stood in his room, ridding your current clothing and slipping on your new dress. You zipped it up the side and slipped on some heels that you already had.

You stared at yourself in the full-body mirror, looking at yourself. Debating, was this really a good dress after all?

You closer your eyes and sighed, holding your stomach.

Just until you felt someone's arms snake around you waist, their chin resting on your shoulder. "You look stunning, darling." your eyes opened and made eye-contact with Akashi's in the mirror.

"Thanks...but, something doesn't feel right." you inhaled deeply, looking at your stomach. "It's just..."

"...(First Name), look at me." he ordered softly, slightly squeezing your waist. You stared deeply into Akashi's eyes through the mirror once again, his eyes full of sincerity.

"You look absolutely fine. No question about it. My darling empress, you make a bad day brighter with a smile. You just have to look again," he held your chin, making you stare at yourself. "look again to what true beauty is. Nothing is looks, everything is heart."

Akashi turned you around to face him and leaned in, tip-toeing a bit to reach your lips since you were wearing high heels.

"You look absolutely fine."
