This one-shot is actually true, it happened today in the morning. Practically Aomine was me, and you were my friend.

~~~~~
You stood at the bus stop, awaiting for the bus to come and bring you to your high school. You texted your best friend.
[No, Aomine is not your best friend. But, she did text me.]
Are you going to be late? 😢
You plugged your earphones in and turned on some music, waiting for the reply.
OMG NO, tell me you're lying. Oh, my god. I'm literally smiling to myself.
She replied quickly after.
I can imagine you smiling like an idiot whom just found out she had a late start and didn't have to go to school for another hour. Oh, my god, I love you. You're adorable, (First Name), you're so cute.
-
You smiled idiotically the rest of the way home.
An hour later, you stepped out of your building (apartment or condo),  and noticed a man standing right outside the door. You gave an odd look as he didn't even make eye-contact with you.
You headed towards the same bus stop as an hour ago. As you were walking, you noticed the man way behind you, so you decided to walk slower. He eventually passed you but, then stopped.
He stopped and stared at you as you passed by, shortly after walking again.
What's this guy's...pr-problem...?
You pulled out your phone and started texting your friend again, feeling like you were in panic.
I think there's someone following me
-
She didn't respond.
[I did respond.]
  You plugged your music in and decided to walk to school instead of taking the bus, you wouldn't want him following you all the way to school, would you?
Little did you know, there was a certain dark-blue haired (only dark-blue haired) male way behind, knowing the reason why you kept looking back, why you looked so frantic.
Your heart pounded against your chest, your breathing feeling cutoff as you kept looking back.
I'm scared...I'm alone...
Aomine cocked and brow and started running towards you, passing random strangers whom were thinking, Is he running to his girlfriend?
You came to a red light and looked behind you, seeing Aomine running your direction while calling your name. Your legs started moving on their own towards him as he came to a stop, he locked arms with you and hugged you.
You were honestly taken by surprise, but soon enough he had mentioned that your best friend had texted him and told him what was happening.
"I was so scared..." You two walked across the road arm in arm, he was holding you tight and didn't want to let go. He knew how scared you were because when he came to you, you wiped your eyes.
[I was so damn worried about her, I didn't want to let her go.]
You two walked the rest of the way to school, of course you made a few glances back. But, he told you not to look. You refused not to look back saying, "What happens if he finds out that I go to Tōō?"
Aomine clicked his tongue and said, "I'll be looking back, and if he wants to come and "see" you, he has to get through me." Aomine was extremely worried, worried that you were in danger and that you always needed someone by your side.
And you did.
You explained everything in chronological order to him from the very moment you went to the bus stop early, to now.
You two were almost at Tōō, "Do you want me to let go now?" Aomine asked, looking down at you. [I did say this.]
You nodded, "Slowly though..." [She did say this.]
He slowly released you arm and before you left his sight, he gave you a quick hug and told you to wait for him after school.
You were going outside to wait for Aomine, but he was already there, standing there out the exit for you. You walked up to him as your cheeks burned like the heat outside, "T-Thanks for everything..." You couldn't make eye-contact.
"C'mon," you two walked your way home and talked about a topic either than the one of earlier today. He walked with an arm around your shoulder, knowing that he was doing this for your protection.
"Aomine-kun...you're really sweet..." You said quietly, hoping for him not to hear you. But, of course, he did.
"I care about you a lot, there's not a day I would not be there for you. You don't know how fucking much I love you, I'll always be there for you." He said suddenly as you felt like you were going to explode into glitter.
"Tell me of something like that happens again. I swear to god, I will walk with you everywhere." You nodded and leaned against his arm as he brought you to your building and up to your apartment/condo.
You stood at the door and smiled, "Thank you, Aomine-kun." He nodded and gave a slight smile. You tip-toed up as he leaned down, you lips met with his.
"Did you really mean when you said, "Always"?"
"Always."
~~~~~

I was so fucking worried about her. I didn't actually know if someone was following her. She had her music in her ear, I was calling her but, she didn't hear me. We were walking and I saw her (we met up with my other friend and I lost sight of her) and then I started running to her.

She eventually saw me at the stop and I hugged her and clung to her arm and asked, "Are you okay? Let's walk together." She explained everything.

She didn't have her friends with her since it's Eid (Happy Eid), and then when I was going to leave the school, I remembered and ran back to the school. I walked with her as far as I could and made sure she texted me when she got home.

Oh, my god. She was crying and that's when I was like, "I'm going to stay with you." She's literally like my role-model bestie, and seeing her like that made me worried sick.
