Things In Common (Ogiwara x Reader)

"HOLY CRAP, YOU LIKE FOOD, TOO?" You shouted, slapping your hands on the table. You didn't care if it was a group of boys, you just had things in common with a certain orange-haired male.

[According to the wikia, Ogiwara has orange hair with a darker shade too, similar to Kagami, just a different hair colour.]

He blinked a couple of times, a bit surprised from the sudden outbreak of a random girl towards him. He nodded ever so hesitantly, just blinking with his mouth slightly agape.

You noticed a piece of rice on his cheek, you took a napkin and wiped it. Making the male have a dark shade of red dusting his cheeks. His friends around him were surprised too.

"Well~ I gotta go, see ya later, alligator." You winked, waving bye to him. "I-I-In a while...croco..dile?" He never experienced a girl's touch (through a napkin) before.

It was true that he only experienced a few confessions, but never a girl who abruptly yelled in his sweet little face about something in common. Plus, those confessions were back in middle school. So, this was a whole new experience. Well, on the lesser side because it wasn't a confession.

"Everybody, you will be put into two teams. Labelled "one" and "two". We're playing dodgeball. Go."

Everyone in the class started going around saying "one" and "two".

"One." You said, waiting for everyone else to finish.

You didn't pay attention much, when you were in class, you'd always look down during instructions. But, when it came to doing the actual thing...

"C'MON, LET'S DO THIS." You shouted, running over to the wrong side of the gym. "(Last Name), over here!" You suddenly ran the other way with your arms up in the air.

Earning a few giggles and chuckles here and there. The coach face-palmed, wondering why in the world would you have such a reaction to the wrong side?

After the game started, while running backwards to get a ball you saw, you bumped into someone, falling on top of them due to the pace you were going at.

"ACK."

You rolled off of the person and looked at them, "Oh, my god. I'm so--Oh, hey~" you smiled, seeing the same boy you yelled at and wiped a piece of rice off his face.

He sat up and laughed awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck. "Sorry, didn't see you there." You shot an apologetic soft smile, he accepted the apology and introduced himself, "I'm Ogiwara Shigehiro."

"(Last Name) (First Name). Nice to meet you, Ogi-kun." You smiled once more.

"HEY, WATCH OUT!"

You and Ogiwara looked towards the direction of the other team, both of you ending up getting a harshly thrown dodgeball to the face. Dropping to the ground and passing out, having a bloody-nose while you were at it.

|| Nurse's Office ||

You woke up in the bed, sitting up. You held your head in a hand and shook it, groaning.

"Ah! (La-Last Name), you're okay!" You heard the voice of the boy you met.

"What happened...?"

"Turns out we were both hit in the face. With the dodge-balls." He chuckled, scratching the back of his head awkwardly. "Oh...~" you hit your hand with a balled fist, remembering that, that happened.

Silence loomed over the both of you, the atmosphere around Ogiwara was awkward while on the other hand, you were smiling like an idiot. [//slapped]

"U-Um, (Last Name)...why me out of all people?" Ogiwara brought his head down, looking at his fingers. You sighed and smiled, understanding what he meant.

"I like you, Ogiwara-kun." You tilted your head a bit, smiling so that your eyes are a bit chinky. "You because I've seen you play basketball, you don't give up. Even if your team has. You have great confidence and I like that about you. Also, you like food. And I like food too, we both like food." You laughed, placing a hand on your forehead.

"A stupid reason, right? But, I'd like to know what you think about me, Shigehiro."

"I...I...l-like you...too." He drifted in parts, he looked up at you. "That's a good to know~" you leaned over and wrapped your arms around his neck and pecked his cheek.

"I like hugging, too."
