To a dear friend who is feeling down, you are never alone. That's why there are people called, "Friends", "Supporters", etc. it may not seem like much, but we are here for you.

♪ I remember tears streaming down your face ♪

You were in need to feel tight and secure walls around you. Which, you were granted. Strong arms around your fragile body, someone to lean against. You felt safe and sound. You felt like you were in peace.

♪ When I said, "I'll never let you go" ♪

But, it wasn't exactly tight enough. There was still a part of you that felt vulnerable. A part of you that was tearing, that was dying.

♪ When all those shadows almost killed your light ♪

Your mind.

♪ I remember you said, "Don't leave me here alone" ♪

Sitting there in the middle of your room in the darkness. Your knees by your thighs, your head resting against his chest, your body being held. Your tears had dampened his grey cotton shirt; he didn't care though.

You had a little argument earlier with him about how you were feeling. How bad you were feeling. Not speaking about the sorry bad, speaking about the contemplating sad. How much you felt useless, how much you felt like absolute crap.

You gave into his words, spilling out your problems. Crying about them. Depressing over them. He was soothing you with his words.

♪ The sun is going down ♪

"Every thought is a battle, every breath is a war, and I don't think I'm winning anymore..." You heaved out, gripping onto his shirt tighter. Many thoughts running through your mind, many pains flowing through your body.

He didn't know how to exactly face this, he was honestly scared himself how to tackle it. Afraid he would make everything worse. He kissed the top of your head, leaving his lips on your hair. He inhaled deeply and closed his eyes.

Twisted was the correct word. Broken was the wrong word, it makes it sound like you could be fixed.

He didn't say anything, he was terrified. He pulled you closer so now that your arms were around his lean build.
