I offer this book to Pratham Pujya, The one who is the God of  intelligence, who is beloved of Devi Riddhi and Devi Siddhi, the beloved brother of Karthikeya and the younger and naughtiest yet beloved son of Mata Parvati, the favourite God of Children, Shree Ganesh.

I offer this book to the Goddess of Knowledge, the one who resides on a white lotus, the one who is the swamini of bramhaloka, the beloved of Brahmadev, the one who is one of the Tridevi, the one for whom every student craves for knowledge, the one who is the mother of the Universe, Devi Saraswati.

या कुन्देन्दुतुषारहारधवला या शुभ्रवस्त्रावृताया वीणावरदण्डमण्डितकरा या श्वेतपद्मासना।
या ब्रह्माच्युत शंकरप्रभृतिभिर्देवैः सदा वन्दिता सा मां पातु सरस्वती भगवती निःशेषजाड्यापहा ॥

Translation ~

She who is white with necklaces of kunda and moon and dew, who is covered with white robes, whose hands are adorned with veena and pendants, who sits on a white lotus. The goddess Saraswati who is always worshiped by Brahma, Acyuta, Shankara and others may that goddess who destroys all illusion protect me.

I offer this book to whom who is the husband of devi sita, who is also know as mariyada purushottam, the one whose glory is as great as Suryanarayan, the one who is the favourite son of Dashrath, the one who is favourite of Kaikeyi, the one who is the lord of hanuman, the one who is the friend of Sugreev, the one who is jyesth among all sons of Dashratha, Shree Ram.

श्री राम राम रामेति रमे रामे मनोरमे ।
सहस्रनाम तत् तुल्यं रामनाम वरानने ॥

Translation ~

Chanting Sri Rama's name even once is equivalent to saying Vishnu Sahasranamam a thousand times (as Lord Shiva said to Parvati).

I offer this book to whom who is the priye of Shree Ram, the one who is the princess of Mithila, the one who is the mother of Luv-Kush, the one who has made happy Mata Gargi herself by her knowledge, the one who is Bhoomija, the one who is the favourite daughter of Rajarishi Janak, Devi Sita.

नमामि चन्द्रभगिनीं सीतां सर्वाङ्गसुन्दरीम् ।
नमामि धर्मनिलयां करुणां वेदमातरम् ॥

Translations ~

I Salute You, You are like the sister of Chandra (in Beauty), You are Sita Who is Beautiful in Her entirety, 6.2: (I Salute You) You are an Abode of Dharma, full of Compassion and the Mother of Vedas.
