1. Jay and Vijay

Two people were standing at the door of Vaikunth lok and were guarding it. Those two were the doorkeepers of the seven doors of Vaikuntha, Jay and Vijay.

After some time, the manas putra or the mind-born sons of Brahmadev who are greater in experience but have a look of child, Sanat Kumars arrived there for a very important work. But the doorkeepers of Vaikuntha's doors stop them there and ignored their pleadings.

"Kripaya kar hume jaane dijiye. Humara Narayan se milna atyant awashyak hai" said four of them. "Humne kaha na nahi yani nahi. Prabhu abhi aapse nahi mil sakte wah shayan awastha mein hai" argued both of them.

Now it was the end of the patience of the Sanat Kumars. They sensed the ego and arrogance in Jay and Vijay. So they cursed them to be born on Earth with the vikars forgetting their reality and also the relation with Narayan. They sprinkled the holy water on their faces.

"Hey mahatma esa mat kijiye. Humare jeevan aadhar he Narayan hai. Hum unke bina kaise rahenge" cries both Jay and Vijay. "Kshama karen parantu hum apna shraap wapas nahi le sakte" said Sanat Kumars.

All of them enters the divine adobe of Shri Hari Narayan. There he was! Holding Panchajanya, Kaumodaki, Sudarshan Chakra and Padma. He had weared a Vaijayanti Mala around his neck and had a Koustubha Mani in his necklace. The glory of his look was increased by the Kiritamukuta. He was lying on Sheshnaag with his beloved, Lakshmi pressing his feets and as always with that mysterious smile on his face.

Sensing the presence of them he opened his lotus-like eyes. Jay and Vijay just rushed towards them and said everything and accepted their faults.

"Hai Karunadhari humpe daya kijiye aur hume itna kathor dand na de" said Jay and Vijay. "Mujhe Khed hai parantu mai iss shrap ko vifal toh nahi kar sakta kintu iss shrap ko saral banane hetu vikalp avashya de sakta hoon. Ya toh aap dono saat baar mere bhakto ke roop me janm lijiye ya phir mere shatru ke roop me tin baar janm lijiye" said Narayan while giving them the two options of the two types of Bhakti - Swikrita bhakti (which is accepted) or Viprita Bhakti (which is opposed).

Jay and Vijay share a look which other while confirming with their eyes and joint their hands and said "He Prabhu hume tin baar aapne shatru ke roop me janm lena swikar hai kyunki saath janmo tak hum aapse dur nahi reh sakte. Humare tino jeevan ke antim kshano me hume aapke haatho moksh rupi amrut prapt hoga."

The Sanat Kumars got happy as their curse was not got fruitless for both. Jay and Vijay again asked for forgiveness to Sanat Kumars.

"Chinta mat kijiye hum yaha Narayan ko yeh suchit evam vinanti karne aaye the ki bhulok par avatar le Bhudevi ko sabhi paapiyon se mukt karein. Aap dono ko toh prasannata honi chahiye ki jab bhi Narayan ke avataro ka naam liya jaayega toh unke saath sadev aapko bhi smarit kiya jayega. Aur waise bhi jo hua tha, jo ho raha hai, aur jo hone wala hai sab Narayan ke sammati se he hua tha, ho raha hai aur bhavishya me hoga" said the Sanat Kumars.

Narayan smiled at them saying or better declaring that when the appropriate time comes he will take his avatar.

After completing the motive of coming to Vaikuntha Dham, Sanat Kumars took leave of them and also Jay and Vijay with Narayan's blessing on a new journey.
