Got so much used to having your company
That I almost forgot you could ever leave
I came to you when I was sad
I came to you when I was mad
No matter wherever I went
I somehow made my way to you in the end
Unbeknownst to me I made you my home
Not just for me, but my soul,
In my ever-changing life, you were always a constant
It is hilarious, how I never saw it happen...
I claimed for you to be my home
But not a thing about you did I know
I never saw how you broke a little
Every time I left
I never knew you were hurting
Till it was too late
I never knew how I needed you
Until you were no longer there
I never knew
Till you disappeared
You were always beside me
Like a shadow that never parts
Foolishly and stupidly, I never thought
We would ever have to be apart
And in the end, like a fool, I once heard of,
I only wanted to walk when I was cripled
Fly, once I lost my wings
I only need the air when I drowned
And you, once you threw away everything
I never knew you loved me till I heard it from your friend
I never knew I loved you too until it was the end
And now, You and I?
We simply ran out of time ...
