Author Note : The Reader is Lasko's coworker partner, and since he has not yet given them a petname, we'll just call them 'love'

Love was walking down the street with Lasko right beside them. They had just left the theatre after watching a movie Lasko was passionate to go watch. The boy was rambling as he always and Love smiled, chirping in every now and then to show Lasko they were paying attention.
They were listening intently, until suddeny Lasko stopped. Love looked at him, wondering why as he spoke with a slightly worried tone
"𝚈-𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠....𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚌-𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚝𝚎𝚕𝚕 𝚖𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚜-𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚙 𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐...𝙸 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝙸 𝚛-𝚛𝚊𝚖𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝚘𝚗 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚒𝚝- 𝚒𝚝 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚐𝚎𝚝 𝚊𝚗𝚗𝚘𝚢𝚒𝚗𝚐..."
Lasko said, rubbing the back of his neck awlwardly. Love was shocked by his statement and didn't hesitate to comfort him
"o-oh no...I like hearing you talk, Lasko. Especially when it's about things your passionate about!"
They smiled, genuinely meaning their words. Lasko continued to walk, still making his point. Fidgeting with his hands slightly
"𝚝-𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝'𝚜 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚜𝚠𝚎𝚎𝚝...𝚊𝚗𝚍- 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚔 𝚢𝚘𝚞! 𝙱𝚞𝚝..."
His voice trailed off, as if lost in thought and his words weren't leaving his mouth fast enough. Love was slightly worried as they looked at their boyfriend
"is something on your mind?"
Love asked, clearly seeing his thoughts drift. They were worried about him and waited for his response
"𝚆-𝚆𝚎𝚕𝚕...𝚢𝚎𝚜 𝚋-𝚋𝚞𝚝...𝙸 𝚍𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚢 𝚢𝚘𝚞...𝚢-𝚢𝚘𝚞'𝚟𝚎 𝚐𝚘𝚝 𝚎𝚗𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑 𝚘𝚗 𝚢-𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚙𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝚊𝚕𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚢!"
He admitted. He didn't want to bother his Love with any of his problems, knowing they already had enough of their own. Love was getting more worried and so they stopped walking
"woah...hey...you know you can talk to me, right? You wouldn't be...bothering...me"
They explained, looking at their boyfriend
"𝙻-𝙻𝚘𝚟𝚎...𝙸-"
He began, struggling to find the words to match his feelings. He took a deep breathe and after a few minutes began to explain
"𝙸- 𝙸 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚏𝚎𝚎𝚕 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝙸 𝚝-𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚔 𝚝𝚘𝚘 𝚖𝚞𝚌𝚑...𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞- 𝚢𝚘𝚞'𝚛𝚎 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚋𝚎 𝚗-𝚗𝚒𝚌𝚎..."
Love felt upset, but they listened closely, waiting for Lasko to finish before they comforted him.
"𝙸 𝚍-𝚍𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠...𝚖-𝚖𝚊𝚢𝚋𝚎 𝚒𝚝'𝚜 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚖𝚎 𝚋-𝚋𝚎𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚜-𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚙𝚒𝚍..."
Lasko groaned, shutting down his own feelings
"You're not stupid Lasko..."
Love comforted, gently holding Lasko's hand in their own
"you talk very passionately about things...and sometimes, you go on a train of thought. That's okay..."
Love comforted, validating Lasko's feelings and comforting him slowly
"I know you probably struggle to get out all the words- which is why you stutter sometimes...but that doesn't make you stupid"
Lasko listened carefully to their words. His worry not fully going away, but happy to hear they felt that way about the way he talked.
"I don't mind your talking....it's nice to see and hear how much you enjoy things"
They smiled warmly. They didn't want to know where this sudden concern came from. It seemed Lasko had thought about this before
"I for one...really like the way you talk"
Love smiled brighter, hoping their words brought some form of comfort to Lasko and his worry. These feelings may not go away instantly, but his feelings were acknowledged and accepted. Lasko laughed a little with a small blush as he looked at his partner
"𝚝-𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚔 𝚢𝚘𝚞, 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎..."
He smiled, hugging Love as their words brought peace to his ever overthinking mind.
"let's get home...I need to cuddle you~"
Love suggested, letting out a small laugh as they started walking again, locking arms with their boyfriend
