Shortly After the Roller Coaster~
"... ughh..."

Your giant of a boyfriend didn't seem to do well with roller coasters, his back pressed against a food truck nearby. Reo was reprimanding his friend for going on it, thinking that he wouldn't have had to tell him it was a bad idea.

"I mean, you KNOW you don't do well with roller coasters. So why'd you go on?", he pulls on his friend's ears, making him whine.

"Oww....", his gaze locks onto you, "I thought I could handle it.."

Reo notices where he's staring, groaning even harder. He gives Nagi a little shove, forcing him to you.

"Here. You can take care of him while the rest of us get snacks"

Nagi mumbles incoherently, eyes half-lidded as he makes his way towards the trashcan. You curse Reo for giving the burden of watching Nagi to you, trudging to his side. The rest of your friends watch in amusement, as you awkwardly pat the gamer's back.

Aryu scratches his chin, "Was it really a good idea to put Y/n in charge of Nagi? I mean, she's not the most comforting"

Shidou sticks his tongue out, "Ah it'll be fine~! They're dating after all"

The group hears Nagi holding back his gags, deciding to leave before he started throwing chunks. Bachira grabs Isagi's hand, dragging him towards the cotton candy. Meanwhile, Shidou, Aryu, and Kaede links arms; walking around the stands to see what they're selling.

Chigiri sighs, fixing his hair into a high ponytail, "Welp, guess it's just you and me..."

Reo finds himself sighing as well, scratching at his cheek, "Yeah, guess so..."

The two take a stroll around, Chigiri buying himself a burger. Reo isn't feeling hungry, but rather, his thoughts consume him.

Kaede... she looked so uncomfortable around me... Do I really make her that uneasy?

"Watcha thinking about rich kid?"

Reo pouts, "I thought I told you to stop calling me that"

"The day I stop calling you that is the day I cut my hair short", Chigiri bites into his burger, covering his mouth, "So what's on your mind?"

He doesn't answer right away, instead, his eyes wandering to a girl with red hair. She laughs with her friends as one of them tries to fit an entire corn dog in his mouth. Reo sees her tongue glide over her piercing, a habit of hers he picked up on. Her crimson eyes crinkle in delight when Aryu says something he can't make out, assuming it was another joke.

Chigiri follows his gaze, shaking his head and sighing when it lands on Kaede.

"Stare for too long and she'll notice you bud..."

Reo smiles bitterly, kicking a pebble. on the floor, "Why does it matter? She knows how I feel about her anyways—"

Chigiri chokes, swallowing the burger with tears in his eyes, "What?! Since when?"

He scrunches his face, "The other day when you basically told her... I confessed to her afterwards..."

Chigiri laughs nervously, "Ah.. Sorry about that...", he looks over at the trio, "I take it she rejected you then?"

Reo shakes his head, "Nah... at least not yet"

He knows it's coming though. I mean, why else would she stray away from him? She'd always been touchy with him, her voice constantly teasing him. Now, it was like they were total strangers.

Chigiri shrugs, patting his friend's back, "Well, take this as a sign to let her go. I mean, not to be rude, but I never understood what you saw in her..."
