"Thanks..."

Your graded math test was handed out today. Much to your surprise, you passed with an 89%.

"This is like the highest I've ever gotten..."

Kaede grins widely, "You said it! Guess your tutor is working out for you huh?"

Kaiser's tutoring sessions were proving to be more helpful than you originally thought. He had a way with words, explaining the most difficult things in a simpler manner. You slipped the test into your binder, the bell ringing shortly after.

"Woo! Lunch!", Kaede jumped out of her seat, "My favorite part of the day"

You merely roll your eyes, walking out the class with her, only to be met by a crowd of girls outside.

"Oh my god—!"
"He's so cute!"
"Why do you think they're here?!"

You groan, trying to push past the girls. All you wanted was lunch, and so did Kaede, who was being much more rough than you were.

"Scuse me! Coming through! C'mon Y/n"

The two of you were being separated by the crowd. Why were all the girl's here anyways? What could possibly be happening? Just then, some girl bumped into you, knocking you off your feet. You were lucky someone was there to catch you though...

"Woah... Ikehara?"

All of the girls stopped squealing, mouths agape watching Nagi keep you from falling. He had his arm around your neck, pulling you to his side.

"C'mon, let's eat"
"Agh! Nagi, wait! You're choking me!"

Kaede chortled, watching you get dragged away as Nagi's rabid fangirls screamed.

"What a couple of losers—"
"Takahashi!"

Reo had been caught by a group of girls, pestering him with questions. His eyes had kept scanning for Kaede though, grinning widely when he caught a glimpse of her red hair. She watched as he politely excused himself from those girls, moving through the mob of them carefully. Kaede only observed his shining eyes and growing smile the closer he got to her, mirroring the sun when he finally managed to grab her hand.

"Hey...", his cheeks went red, "Did Nagi already leave?"

The girls behind him were fuming from the head, frustrated over the fact that Reo completely ignored them. Reo had always been the nicer one between him and Nagi. He'd at least show his dedicated "fans", the time of day, accepting their little gifts to him and what not.

"Hey! Reo!?"
"He's been doing this for a week now!"
"Why does he keep talking to Takahashi?!"

Kaede felt a weight off her shoulders, Reo having taken her bag. He smiles softly, eyes stuck to hers like glue.

"C'mon, let's go..."

She hears the student's whispers, making out some of the nasty things they say about her. Her doubts start to overcome her, feeling like this was a mistake.

"Takahashi?"

His smile doesn't falter, even when he's looking at someone as disgusting as her. Her heart aches, but that only pushes her forward, taking his hand in hers. This makes his fangirls go wild, and not in the good way. They're cursing her out, calling her a whore, it's a little intimidating to say the least.

Reo notices this, squeezing her hand, "You okay?"

She nods, licking her piercing, "Yeah... I'm okay...."
