THE PREVIOUS night was silent, it had taken them about 25 minutes to finish in the bathroom, they took their time, they had no rush to go back to the cabin or anywhere else in the camp.
The day had gone fairly quickly after the two boys were out of the bathroom. The sky had grown dark, and the sound of silent chatter surrounded them.
They walked side by side to Hermes cabin in silence, neither of them having the energy to talk. Arriving in the room was like not being there at all, everyone was either asleep or messing around in silence, the little light that shined was from the small spark of the fire pit in the middle of the cabin.
Kaiden walked towards where their bags were located and pulled out the rolled out sleeping bags, he arranged his brother's first and then went to do the same for himself. Percy made sure to be laying down as close to his brother as possible.
Sleep didn't come easy for the boys, the night was quiet, it was different. They tussled around, trying to find a comfortable or easy way to knock out.
Kaiden lifted his arm from the top of his bag and pulled Percy a bit closer to him, making Percy, in other words, hug his bigger body.
Kaiden felt the little body relax in his hold and he himself began to relax knowing his brother was able to reach a point of rest. His eyes finally started to close, and he tightened his grip on his brother's shoulders as he let the darkness take over him.
