"Oh my Arceus, I'm so sorry for your loss" Gloria frowned.

"Oh...thank you"

"What about your mom, can't you ask her?" Leon asks.

"I haven't seen her since I was a baby" Arven frowned.

That made my friends gasp with sad expressions on all their faces.

"Oh Arven, that's so sad" Gloria frowned.

"Don't worry about it, I took care of myself so I'm fine, I mean I'm not gonna lie, I sometimes get jealous to see other kids with their parents since my dad used to be so busy with work that he was barely home, he used to be a professor"

"Really, wow" Victor says in amazement.

"But we understand what it's like to lose a parent, don't we Lee?"

"Oh yeah"

"Really?"

"When I was a kid, it was when mom just gave birth to my brother Hop here, our dad died because he got sick"

"Oh, I'm so sorry"

"When me and Gloria were inside our mom's belly, dad left her and we never met him" Victor explained with a frown.

"And we know how my dad is" I reminded sadly.

"Wow, I never thought I would meet new friends who know what it's like to grow up without a parent, again I'm really sorry"

"Don't worry about it bud, we always say that we're lucky to have the love ones that been their for us since some have the worse then what we been through"

"You're right about that Leon" I nodded in agreement.

"Let's change the subject here, we don't want to start our meeting with sad stories right?"

"Penny's right, so anyway I'm looking forward to watching you guys competing in the champion, I can't help but feel jealous since I can't in it" Nemona pouted.

"But Nemona think about it, if you competed, what will you do if you become the new champion of Galar, you realize that you would be away from us because of that" I reminded.

"Yeah you're right, and I don't want to be away from you guys"

"I've been meaning to ask, where you all staying?" I ask my Galar Region friends.

"We're actually camping, but if the weather gets bad, we'll just stay in a hotel in Mesagoza" Hop explained.

"Oh okay"

"So Leon, when can we have our battle?" Nemona asks in desperate.

"Nemona, where are your manners?" Penny scolded lightly.

"No it's fine Penny and about our battle, we can have it while we're at the beach, sound good?"

"Perfect, man I can't wait" Nemona squealed in excitement.

"I'm ready to do some swimming" Gloria grinned.

"Me too" Hop agreed.

"And I can't wait to see all the new pokemon here in Paldea" Victor says in excitement.

"Believe me Victor, theirs a lot of pokemon that you can't find in Galar" I smirked.

"Awesome"
