Chapter 90

Narrator pov

Victor and Gloria's battle went on for quite a while and when they got down to their last pokemon, the one that fell first was...Gloria's Inteleon.

Juliana pov

"Inteleon is unable to battle, Rillaboom wins which means the victory goes to Victor!" the referee announced loudly.

The crowd cheered loudly and I saw Gloria running over to her Inteleon and returned it to it's pokeball. Then I saw her and Victor shake hands and they both left the battlefield.

"Gloria lost" Hop says sadly.

"I hope she's alright" I say worryingly.

After that, the event was over for the day and we went to find the twins. We got to the locker rooms and found Victor who was back in his outfit but Gloria wasn't anywhere.

"Hey Victor, that was awesome" Nemona comment with a huge grin.

"Thanks Nemona, it was fun, and I know tomorrow is gonna be a lot more challenging"

"Hey Victor, where's Gloria?" Penny asks in confusion.

"She said she had to go to the bathroom, but she'll be back in just a little while, but..."

"But what?"

"Well, she seemed pretty upset for losing" Victor explained while frowning.

"I'm gonna go check in her"

"I'll go as well" says Penny.

"Me too" says Nemona.

"Can I come too?" Marnie asks.

"Sure, boys we'll be right back"

"Alright" Hop, Victor, and Arven say with nods.

Then all us girls headed to the girls bathroom.

Gloria pov

I was splashing water in my face because I was crying from losing to my brother, I was happy for him but sad that I won't be able to face Leon.

"Gloria?"

I jumped and I saw Juliana, Nemona, Penny, and Marnie we're behind me with concern expressions on all their faces.

Juliana pov

"Gloria, are you okay?" Nemona asks in concern.

"Yeah...I'm fine, why wouldn't I be?" Gloria chuckled with a fake smile.

I just frowned and placed my hand on her shoulder.

"Gloria, Victor told us that you were upset for losing, you don't have to hide your true feelings from us, you can be open with us"

"Juliana's right, we're all here for you Gloria" Marnie smiled softly.

"And just know that you were amazing out there and you did your very best" says Penny.

"And like I said to Hop, you can always try again and don't give up"I reminded her while smiling.

She had a surprised expression on her face and finally a smile appeared on it.

"You all are right, I can try again one day and I am proud of my bro as well, thanks you all for being such good friends"

We all shared a group hug and after we parted.

"We better find the boys" Nemona suggested.

"Right, I hope we didn't keep them waiting to long"
