KRYSTAL'S POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock beeping. Why is this thing ringing on a Sunday?
Oh wait.
I'm moving today.
My dad recently got a new job in New Jersey. Believe me, I'm happy for him, but I don't want to leave NY. New York is close to New Jersey, but I live on the east end of Long Island.
I don't want to leave my friends.
I was already packed up. I did this last night so I could say goodbye to my friends.
I got out of bed for the last time in this house and did my daily routine. Taking a shower, brushing my teeth, and hair. Then I got changed into some black high waisted shorts, and a black and white striped halter crop top.

I ate breakfast and told my mom I was going to go say bye to my friends.
"Mom I'm going to say bye to Skylar and Julia!"
"Ok just be back in 30 minutes! That's when we're leaving!" I nodded to my mom as I walked out the door.

I walked to my friend Skylar's house. As I was walking there I got a text from Julia saying that she is at Skylar's house so she could say goodbye at the same time.

I arrived at her house. I just opened the door and walked in because we knew each other that well. They were both is Skylar's room. As soon as we all saw each other we just started to cry.
Cry about how I'm moving. Cry about how no more weekend mall trips together. No more movie nights. And no more being together all the time.

Our crying started to subside. Skylar looks at me and says "I'm going to miss you so much!"
Me and Skylar were so close. We've been friends since the first grade.

I'm so sad to leave them, but I'm also sort of excited to go to a new school for a fresh start.
I don't know why I'm moving now when we only have one week of school left.

I said goodbye to my friends and walked home. When I got back the moving truck was all ready to go and my parents were waiting for me.

"Ok Krystal, we are ready to go! Just go back in the house and make sure your not forgetting anything." My dad said as I walked towards them. I went inside and took a look around, I'm just thinking of all the good times we had here. I looked around and I was about to walk out when I saw a piece of paper on the floor.

I picked it up and I saw it was a picture of me and my friends when we were little. I smiled at the memory.

I picked it up and walked out. I was excited yet nervous for my new start. I got in the car and looked at my house in the distance as we were driving away.
