The Girl Next Door

Chapter 6

KRYSTAL POV

Once the boys stopped staring at me, we laughed it off and I got in the pool.

We just started to swim around and play with these water guns they had. I was having so much fun.

We started to get a little tired so we got out and decided to relax in some lawn chairs they had.

We started to talk about some classes that we take. "Yeah me and Grayson have the same schedule" Ethan said

"Oh that's cool, I didn't get my schedule yet so hopefully we have some classes together." I said hopefully.

I really do want to have some classes with them since I'm not really that good at making friends. I will most likely be alone in most of my classes.

I was about to speak up again but then my phone started ringing. 

I picked up the phone.

"Hey honey! I just got home and I wanted to know where you were?" Ugh my mom is so protective over me. I mean I'm thankful that she is but it just gets a little annoying sometimes.

"I'm next door at the Neighbors house."
"Oh that's great honey I'm glad you made some friends. But right now I need you to come home."
Damn I did not want to leave I was having so much fun. "Why?" I wanted to stay here with the boys.

"We are having some people over for dinner and I need help making and setting up dinner."

"Oh ok I will be home in a few minutes." I said as I hung up.

"Guys I have to go home, my mom needs help with dinner." They both looked kind of sad.

I am glad I have that effect on them. "Aw that sucks. But we are going to see each other soon anyway. I mean we are neighbors." Ethan said with hope in his voice.

I was going to say something but Grayson spoke up:  "it was so much fun hanging out with you and hopefully we can do it again soon." Grayson was smiling big. 

"Yeah I hope we can" I replied. After I said that they both simultaneously ran their fingers through their hair.

"Wow that was hot"

"What did you say?" Grayson said blushing.

OH MY GOD DID I JUST SAY THAT OUT LOUD! GRAYSON ASKED ME WHAT I SAID BUT THEY BOTH KNEW WHAT I SAID GOD DAMN IT I AM SO STUPID.

"I didn't say anything." I tried to play it off cool but it didn't really work. They let it go thankfully I didn't want to deal with their teasing.

"Ok bye guys I will see you soon!" I said walking away still slightly embarrassed. 

Ethan walked away, but Grayson was still standing there. He ran up to me. "Krystal wait!"
I turned around. "I didn't get a hug goodbye." He said pouting.

I laughed and gave him a tight hug.

DAMN THOSE MUSCLES AGAIN. 

It felt so right for us to be hugging. I can't explain the feeling.

We released and said goodbye one more time before I walked away.

I was nervous about this whole moving thing, but now I'm not as nervous as before. And it's all because of those two boys.

I walked in my house to smell the aroma of chicken parm. YES MY MOM IS MAKING IT FOR DINNER THIS IS GREAT. I wonder who we are having over for dinner tonight.

"Hey mom, what do you want me to do?"

"Hi honey how about you set the table and make salad then you can get ready." Sounds easy enough.
