----- 3rd POV -----
The newest moons and stars are busy practicing while their senior moons and stars watch them. They have a whole month left until the final competition night. The university made sure their academics would not be affected by freshmen events so it was made into a whole month, using all extra time for activities, instead of a 2 week of freshmen activities with no lessons.
The 2nd-years were making preparations for the events so the 3rd-years were quick to step up and offer their help for the performances of their newest juniors. Mingkwan arrived early together with other 3rd-years to help their respective juniors.
He watched the engineering moon and star, Earth, and Fah. When they were able to take a break, Ming immediately called them to his side, giving them water and some light snacks. His former partner Som, the 3rd-year star of engineering and hazer, came to his side to check on their juniors.
"Nong nong, do you have plans for your individual and partner performance?" Som asked immediately
"P'Som, I wanted to sing a song for my solo. Ai' Earth said he's choosing between singing and dancing for his." Nong Fah politely answered
"You can do both if you can't choose Nong Earth." Ming suggested and Earth just nodded
The two juniors were still shy and awkward to approach their 3rd-year seniors since they were their hazers when they were on engineering grounds. The two seniors quickly took notice of this and looked at each other.
"Nong nong, when you are on engineering grounds, you are under SOTUS and are required to do what we tell you. But it's different here. Relax." Som calmly started
"That's true. This is a competition which you are in, representing all of us in engineering. Yes, you are still under SOTUS and we understand we are scary to you now. But that also means you are in the process of being our juniors, learning the ways inside our college. We are your seniors. Ask us for help and we will." Ming smiled a little and the juniors calmed down.
"Actually Phi..." Earth started, looking at Fah
"Hmm? What is it?" Ming asked
"The 2nd-years have been telling us that we don't have chemistry when we do things together. We don't know what to do but we thought maybe it's because we aren't attracted to each other?" Earth continued
"Ahhh... we had the same problem before didn't we Ming?" Som chuckled softly
"Really Phi?" Fah curiously asked
"Yeah, Ai'Som just isn't pretty enough for m—Ow! That hurts!" Ming laughed but got cut off by Som hitting the back of his neck
"Now nong nong, it's just a matter of being comfortable with each other. You already spend time together in some classes, in SOTUS, and now here. Even if you aren't attracted to each other, you can be comfortable. Right, head hazer?" Som said glaring at Ming
