𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐍 extensive period of research, the tyrant deduced that y/n's affinity for his garden has got to indicate a fondness for flowers.

Well, you see—Poseidon had actually sent the goddess another six gifts in the past few weeks—but each time, they were all returned back to the same spot, just like the first one. Unopened, the only thing that was missing was the small note he left on each gift.

So the eighth try must work!

He was unsure of the reason as to why she never opened them but the sea god was somewhat still determined. In his eyes, he had already attained perfection, he was the mighty and feared god for a reason, he wasn't going to give up that easily.

At this point, the sea king must have already deluded himself into thinking this was going to work. He had went to the extent of instructing Hermes to inquire y/n's favourite flowers. In the mind of the tyrant of the seas, it was the least his nephew could have done for him, after screwing the first gift idea (it wasn't like his other six attempts succeeded—but no one needed to know that!)

The deferential goddess was situated in the vicinity of the Valhalla fountain along with a few of her friends, engaged in a discussion about their daily lives.

It had been fairly easy for Hermes to locate the woman as her graceful poise and angelic charm distinguished her prominently from the others. He had now understood why his uncle was so fond of this particular goddess. As soon as the messenger god caught sight of her, he approached her with a polite demeanour and inquired her preferred choice of flowers.

"well I suppose mine would have to be..the nymphaea", y/n responded truthfully, though her perplexity was evident as she wondered why Hermes came all this way just to ask her about that.

Y/n's friends mirrored her mystified expression, as theirs were filled with equal confusion. Some of the goddesses speculated that there might be a connection between the two, whilst others remained indifferent to the occurrence.

"Very well, I will take my leave now. Thank you for your time ladies", Hermes gave the goddesses a last smile before promptly departing—just as suddenly as he appeared.

A few of the goddesses giggled while some others twirled their hair around in respond to his captivating qualities.

"Now what was all that about?" A fellow goddess that was the friend of y/n questioned as she raised a brow.

From a distance, Zeus had unintentionally caught his son hurrying to and from Poseidon's domain.

"what are they up to..?"

𓇽

"Long time no see, older brother Poseidon!" Zeus chirped as he slowly made his way to the sea god while keeping his hands positioned behind his back (doing so made him feel quite sophisticated in his mind).

"Who let you in?"

"Now, now Poseidon-"

Before Zeus had even gotten the chance to finish his sentence, the tyrant had already walked past him. He then gently plucked out one of the pink water lilies that floated delicately on the surface of the pond water.

"This is unlike you, what are you doing?"

"Nothing that concerns you."

"Your replies are still as harsh as usual"

Zeus chuckled as he observed his elder brother skilfully crafted an orb like object with the pale pink aquatic flower at its centre. The god father of cosmos thought to himself as a smile gradually emerges on his face, "I guess Hermes was correct after all, I just had to see it myself to believe it y'know?"
