I woke up the bright Colorado sunlight piercing through my window. I got up and looked at the clock that is sitting on my bedside table eight- thirty-two it read . I get up heading to the bathroom and begin freshening up combing my hair , brushing my teeth , and picking and outfit .
I decide to wear some light washed jeans that had holes by the knee and a light crème sweater it was hot out so I but and white cropped top underneath. I head down stairs of my home . My parents both have already gone to work. I head over to the smoothie bar and make me smoothie and head out to my car . I pick up my phone and look to see all the text messages I didn't read last night , I was wasted , yeah yeah I know I'm a goood girl but you know , I'm just a girl . I had a bunch of texts from all my friends

I laugh of course he thought I was asleep
I quickly text him back telling him that I was in fact asleep I don't usually lie to Cole but he's not fond of my getting wasted .

I text back Gracie and Skylar back who is one of my other friends we've all known each other forever I love them there my best friends. I texts back Erin as well she just asked what time I was coming over . We hang out every blue moon .

After texting everyone back I drive my way over to the Walters house , Cole might not even be home but I still hang out will all the other Walters to. I knock on the front door , Danny opens the  door Danny is one of Coles brothers he is a theatre kid , loads of fun when you get to talk to him . Hey Evelyn Coles in his room . Thanks Danny . I walk into the gorgeous house that has toys everywhere but I mean that's expected in the Walter home , did I mention how many people live in this house there family is huge . As I get up the stairs Alex's door opens and he notices me there
Oh hey Evelyn
Hey Alex
Alex looks at me for a moments before saying something I could exactly hear and heading down the stairs.
I open Coles room , no I don't knock I mean it's Cole he's my best friend and last I heard him and Erin were on one of their breaks. As I walk into the room Cole turns around and looks at before coming up and bringing me into a hug while saying hey Eves
Hey Cole
Cole kisses my forehead then lays down on his bed then motioning my to lay with him , this is usual behavior for me and Cole we both love the comfort in physical touch so getting to hug and cuddle with your best friend is nice .
I lay down with Cole we talk about things and Cole plays with my hair and occasionally kisses my forehead. I hear a notification pop up of my phone and as I look I see that my parents want me home to eat lunch and talk about something apparently.
I have to go home
What you just got here
I know I know my parents have something they need to tell me.
Oh ok well um call me when you get a chance
You know it
As I get out of the bed I feel a firm bit soft grip hold my arm
I'm here if you need me
Thanks Cole I say leaning down and kissing his cheek , normal thing for us no feelings ... definitely I mean best friends do this all the time
Yeah yeah
Snapping out of my thoughts I walk back out and down the steps when I reach the bottom I see Alex again
Bye Alex I say waving as I head towards the door

As I head outside I think about what Alex said I mean he called me Evie he hasn't called me that in forever . It's weird but I think I'm reading to much into it im delusional and a overthinker best of both worlds I guess.

I get into my Car and head back towards my house.
