"Dal-ah, can I talk to you about something?" There was hesitation in Hanbin's voice.
"Why do you look so serious? Did something bad happen?" Dal immediately attended to Hanbin and held his hands as he sat down next to her.
"No, nothing happened. I was just thinking of our wedding... Would you mind if we kept it more private and only invited our closest family members and friends?"
"What were you planning to do? Invite everyone you know to our wedding?" Dal looked at Hanbin as if he were saying the obvious. "To be honest, I really don't mind if we just sign the papers and go on a honeymoon."
Hanbin laughed at himself for being worried for nothing. He wanted to keep the wedding between them and guests who would actually be there to congratulate them because he didn't want Dal to hear people gossiping about their relationship on their big day. Yet he was afraid that Dal would get it the wrong way and felt like he wasn't ready to publicise their relationship because that was far from the truth.
"Your parents would definitely object to that idea. It's their only daughter's wedding, after all."
"You're right. I'll take that back. All I'm trying to say is, as long as the one I'm getting married to is you, anything is fine."
"Aigoo, do you love me that much?" He cupped her face and lightly rubbed his nose against hers.
"There's no way you just figured that out." She joked.
"Well, I love you more." He gave her a peck on the lips and deepened the kiss.
.
It was finally the big day. Jiwoong saw Hanbin taking big breaths in between talking to guests. He walked towards the nervous groom and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Relax, bro."
"I don't even know why I'm this nervous."
"Should I make you more nervous? Dal looks gorgeously stunning today." Jiwoong smirked naughtily.
Hanbin glared at Jiwoong and started tickling him.
"Ya ya ya, everyone is looking at you. Please try and act decently. You're the groom today."
"Thanks to you, I'm feeling less anxious now." Hanbin reached out his hand to give Jiwoong a bro handshake.
But what happened next raised the tension again.
"Hanbin-ah!" Dal's mother rushed towards Hanbin, sounding very upset. "Why are people saying that you cheated on your ex-girlfriend with Dalie? Is that true? Did you break up with your girlfriend for Dal?"
Dal's mother's interrogation gained the attention of the other guests, and they were all looking at him. Hanbin closed his eyes briefly and took a big breath. He knew this would happen.
"No, that's not true." Just as he was about to respond, a female voice spoke up before he did.
He looked to the back of the crowd, and there stood a familiar someone whom he hadn't met in two years.
"Seul-ah..." He whispered under his breath.
"Who are you?" Dal's mother turned to the owner of the voice and questioned.
"Hanbin oppa's ex-girlfriend." Iseul slowly walked towards Hanbin and Dal's mother until she was standing next to them.
The guests gasped and chattered, waiting for the drama to unfold.
"Hanbin oppa didn't cheat on me." Iseul reiterated. "He didn't do anything he shouldn't have done behind my back while we were dating. And he started dating Dalie Unnie at least three months after we broke up. Please don't misunderstand him. We've dated for over 10 years."
