Finding out that AJ and I were expecting our first child together was an amazing and exciting experience. We had been trying to conceive for quite some time, and the news brought us an immense amount of joy and anticipation. Little did we know, this beautiful journey was just about to begin.

AJ, despite me only being five weeks along, took it upon himself to ensure my utmost comfort and safety. He believed that carrying anything heavy might pose a risk to our unborn child, and so he adamantly refused to let me engage in any task that involved lifting or straining. At first, I found his protectiveness endearing, although it did take some time for me to adapt to this new dynamic.

Every morning, AJ would bring me a tray filled with a freshly brewed cup of herbal tea and a simple yet nutritious breakfast. He believed that it was important for me to start the day with a nourishing meal that would provide me with the energy I needed. As I enjoyed my breakfast in bed, he would sit next to me, gently massaging my feet, relieving the aches and fatigue that often accompanied early pregnancy.

During the day, AJ continued to amaze me with his innovative and creative ways to ensure my well-being. He even went to the extent of crafting a little pulley system that connected to the door handles, allowing me to effortlessly open and close doors without exerting any pressure. It was such a practical solution that made me appreciate his thoughtfulness even more.

We had agreed to not announce our pregnancy to the pack yet as it was taboo to and we didn't want anything to happen until we were further into our pregnancy. The only ones who knew had been my parents, Beau and Alice—the latter seeing as she was the pack doctor—and of course Dillon and Jake.

"I still can't believe we're having babies together," Jake said one day as he sat with me in the living room while our mates were out in the yard training our new pack members.

"Neither can I," I said with a grin as I watched him lay a hand on his belly. He was further along than I was at 14 weeks. "Have you decided what to name your baby yet?"

"No," he shook his head with a smile, "Dillon says he wants to wait to name them since we want to see what we're having once the baby's born."

"I still can't believe you agreed to not finding out the sex of the baby until the birth."

"I think it's a good idea," Jake shrugged, making me raise an eyebrow in surprise. "It keeps the excitement alive, you know?"

I nodded, realizing that he had a point. It would be a true surprise to discover the gender of the baby at birth, and it would certainly make the moment even more special.

"I think it's time that we tell the pack of our pregnancy," I told AJ once we had entered our second trimester.

"We can tell them during our meeting tonight," he said and I nodded.

Our pack had grown exponentially over the past few weeks, and it was amazing how quickly it had grown in size. As Alpha and Luna, it was our duty to lead the pack and share our joyous news with them. That night, as everyone gathered in the meeting room, AJ and I stood side by side, his hand resting protectively on my belly.

AJ cleared his throat and the room fell silent. He looked at me with an affectionate smile before addressing the pack.

"We have some wonderful news to share with all of you. Ajax and I are expecting our first child together," he announced proudly, his gaze filled with happiness.

A moment of stunned silence was followed by an eruption of cheers and applause. The pack members congratulated us, their faces beaming with joy.

As the excitement settled, AJ and I thanked everyone for their kind wishes, feeling overwhelmed by the love and support that surrounded us. It was truly a magical moment, knowing that our pack would soon welcome a new member, a future Alpha or Luna.

From that day forward, the pack showered us with love and support. They organized baby showers, offered help with nursery preparations, and even arranged for childcare workshops to ensure that we were well-prepared for our journey into parenthood. It was incredible to witness the unity and dedication of our pack, and it filled us with a deep sense of pride.

As the months went by, AJ and I cherished every moment of our pregnancy. We shared ultrasound images, felt our baby's first kicks, and eagerly prepared for the arrival of our little one. The bond between us grew stronger, and our love for each other expanded as we embraced the incredible responsibility of becoming parents.

Finally, the day arrived when I went into labor. Surrounded by AJ, our family, and the pack, I brought our beautiful baby into the world. It was a joyous moment filled with tears of happiness and overwhelming love.

As we held our precious bundle in our arms, we couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Our journey from finding out about our pregnancy to actually becoming parents had been filled with love, support, and immense happiness. We were blessed with a healthy baby, and the future of our pack seemed brighter than ever.

Finding out that we were expecting our first child had been an amazing and exciting experience, but the journey of parenthood exceeded all expectations. It was a journey that brought us closer as a couple, strengthened our bond with the pack, and filled our lives with a love that knew no bounds. Our little one had given us a new purpose, and we were determined to create a world of happiness and peace for them.

As parents and leaders, AJ and I would continue to lead our pack with love, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Our story would forever be intertwined with the tale of our pack, a testament to the power of love and the incredible strength that comes with family. And as our child grew, they would learn the value of unity, trust, and the beauty that lies in becoming part of something greater than oneself.

And thus, our beautiful journey into parenthood began, with our hearts filled with love, hope, and endless possibilities.
