Chapter 3

I was still feeling overwhelmed and anxious after my intense dream with Amber.
The details of the dream still felt so real, consumed by the thoughts of Amber.

I was filled with conflicting emotions about my dream.
The experience had been so vivid and intense, but it was also just a dream.
There was a burning desire to re-experience the sensual connection with her that had been so thrilling in the moment.
But it was just a dream, and I was starting to feel uneasy about the whole thing.
I couldn't figure out if I was supposed to let it go or hold on to it.

My mind was full of mixed emotions and images from my dream,
my mind racing and my thoughts swirl of lust and doubt,
making it hard to focus on anything else.

I thought back to our first encounter at the cultural event.
I remembered how our eyes locked, and our fingers gazed.
Her light brown eyes were like jewels that captivated me, and the way her hair fell in perfect waves down her back was like a waterfall of beauty.
The black gown hugged her body in all the right places, accentuating every curve and teasing every part of her sexy body.
Her glowing skin was like soft and tender ivory, as her body glistened like a beautiful painting in the light.
Her flawless skin and white complexion made it seem like she was not of this world, like she was something divine and ethereal.
Every inch of her was perfect, from her flowing hair to her delicate features.
I couldn't stop thinking about her,
her body, her gaze, her essence was intoxicating me with desire and fascination.

I had to talk to Sasha about this obsession.
She knew me better than anyone else but I was feeling unsure as what will be her reaction after hearing about all this shit.

She was sipping coffee while reading a book.
I swallowed nervously as I sat down beside her in the living room.
"Heyy...I want to talk to u about something", I finally said while keeping a playful tone
"What is it?"
It's just...I don't know how to tell you"
She sighed and rolled her eyes, putting down her book and giving me a more serious look.
"Tell me straight, what have you done?"
Nothing much it's just I guess I have a crush on one of your friends."
"WHAT!! WHO?", she asked with shocking reaction on her face and jumping on the sofa.

"Amber", I spoke anxiously
"WHAT THE FUCK!! HAVE U GONE NUTS! You won't talk to her."
"But why?"
"Dont ask questions, I said no, once"
"Try to understand, I can't stop thinking about her, she's been on my head ever since i saw her."

She was silent for a few moments, finally she spoke.
"Look it's just not a good idea for you to talk to Amber."
"Why?" I asked a bit nervously

"Well, first of all she's my friend and besides what if she doesn't like you?
If that happens, it'll be really awkward and it could ruin our friendship.
Not to mention that if she rejects you, you can bet my whole class is about to find out about it. You'll be a laughingstock!"

I thought about what she said and maybe she had a good point but I just wanted to try atleast once.
"Can you ask her about me?
Please just do it, I need to know, I need that closure."

"There's no point in trying something that is bound to fail.
Do you really want me to ask her and risk our friendship all for a small chance at romance?"

"But what if she likes me back?" I spoke, pleading a palpable sense of desperation in my voice.

She thought about it for a moment, her expression changed between sympathy and doubt.
"Okay, I'll ask her tomorrow in class.
"If she says she isn't interested, I will move on, I promise."

As Sasha returned from her university the next day and walked in the door, I was all ears waiting to hear what she had to say.

"So did you ask Amber about me?", My eyes were filled with anticipation.

She smiled back at me, her devilish eyes shining with pleasure.
"Yup, and you're not going to believe the answer she gave me."

"Quit playing with my patience, just spill it already."

She laughed softly and finally answered: "Amber likes you too!".......
