↑ This is when Damian saw Marinette for the first time. This is the dress she wears.

The rugged terrains of Tibet were not for the faint-hearted. Dotted with isolated monasteries, these valleys held secrets and powers beyond mortal comprehension. One sanctuary, nestled amidst soaring peaks, attracted Damian Wayne's attention. The ancient structures, bathed in a golden hue, shimmered against the azure sky.

Upon arrival, the monks of the temple, clad in crimson and saffron robes, welcomed him. Damian's demeanour was different; he retained his hair, setting him apart, but no one questioned it. Instead, they respected his individuality, recognising the strength and determination burning within those green eyes.

As days turned into weeks, Damian absorbed the temple's rhythm, practising meditation and martial arts and engaging in philosophical discussions. But one particular event caught his interest- a once-in-a-lifetime ceremony. On that fated day, the monastery was abuzz with anticipation. The central hall was adorned with candles, and the air was thick with the scent of incense. At the ceremony's heart stood the oldest monk, Master Li, ready to perform an ancient spell.

The chants echoed in the cavernous hall, filling every nook and cranny with their rhythmic cadence. And then, she emerged from the blindingly bright cascade of golden wings. She was an ethereal vision-Marinette, the temple's fabled Guardian and Goddess.

For Damian, time seemed to slow. Those delicate features, framed by raven-black hair and those deep blue eyes, seemed otherworldly. In her presence, everything else faded into insignificance. Who was she? The embodiment of myths he had overheard or the personification of the temple's spiritual essence?

Curiosity burning, he leaned towards a nearby monk and whispered, "Who is she?"

The monk replied, "She is Marinette, our Guardian and Goddess. She is both a protector and a beacon for lost souls."

The ceremony's pinnacle was fast approaching. Master Li stepped forward, chanting with increasing fervour:

"By the ageless winds and timeless tides,

By the moons pull and sun that guides,

By the power that the universe hides,

With this chant, our fates collide."

"Let the bonds of time be cast aside,

In loyalty and will, our souls tied.

Let no hate or betrayal reside,

I, Master Li, am ready for this ride."

"I, Master Li, willingly contract with Marinette and become her guide."

Marinette's eyes, previously closed, now stared directly into Master Li's. The hall remained silent save for their synchronised breathing. Slowly, gracefully, Marinette descended, kneeling before Master Li, acknowledging the bond they had just forged.

"It is you who awakened me and made this contract," Marinette said, her voice soft yet filled with ancient wisdom.

Master Li responded, his voice filled with reverence, "It's an honour, Marinette. Together, we'll continue the legacy of protection and wisdom."

Damian, watching the scene unfold, felt an inexplicable connection-a pull towards Marinette. He didn't know how or why, but he was sure their paths were destined to cross.

And as the ceremony concluded, the monks and disciples left the hall. However, Damian lingered, his thoughts occupied with the ethereal beauty he had just witnessed and the journey that lay ahead.
