After toshinori had to leave to kick endeavor's ass, shoko and izuku with Izumi were hanging out in his room
Shoko decided to show Izuku her lice side, which was on the left side of her body, she was able to make a construct of a small bird
"Whoa, you're ice is powerful todoroki-Chan" izuku said in awe
Shoko lips curved upward into a small smile "please call me shoko, I don't want to be a todoroki anymore" shoko says
Izuku and Izumi smiled "of course shoko-Chan, we aren't going to call you todoroki anymore" izuku said
Shoko cancelled her quirk as the bird disappeared in her hand, falling into shards of ice, "thank you" she said quietly
"It's yours you know" Izumi said and shoko looked at her like she was crazy
"What do you mean?" Shoko asked Izumi as she was confused about what she had said, Izumi smiled at her "if your fire side was your father's quirk, then he would be able to control it correct?" Izumi said
Shoko could only nod as she looked at izuku who explained further "it's always been yours shoko, no one else will ever control your fire expect for you, fire can mean different things, it's not always about destruction" izuku gently lifted her right arm, and held it in his hands
"It could also mean life, or a source of light that a child can cling onto if they're lost in rain or in a forest" izuku said
Izumi placed her hands on shoko's shoulders as she smiled at the ice girl "shoko, you can lead people with your fire, your fire is not endeavors....it has been always yours....shoko" Izumi hugged shoko and izuku did the same as shoko realized something she had forgotten about in a long time
'You don't have to be a prisoner of your quirk, you can make it your own shoko, you're small now, but when you are grown, you have a future that you can decide for yourself, me or endeavor can't decide it...only you can'
Shoko began to tear up, it's been a while since she can fully be her, that she could finally cry
"There we go" she heard izuku as she felt him patting her head and kept on hugging her
She tried to say something but her voice wouldn't work, but they understood what she meant and continued to hug her
