Ready?

I flutter my eyes open , slowly moving my body since it aches

I sit up on the bed , not remembering how I got there . The room is empty, sunlight shining through the windows lighting up the whole white room, as I look around ,

I spot a dress, hanging on a mannequin , looking absolutely beautiful

The dress is emerald green , long with a cut coming up to the leg, draping on the floor, and the top has two thin straps , wrapped around the waist and over the arms is a lock of black fur, similar to an off shoulder sweater , and resting on a small table besides it are a few fancy looking boxes

I'm awestruck at the sight, I make my way out of the bed , rubbing my eyes as I stand and stare at it , not wanting to touch it , because of how expensive and posh it looked

I can't help but wonder what's in those pretty black velvet boxes

I look down at what I'm wearing , a grey tank top with sweatpants , my hair loose

Definitely didn't want to touch anything now .

"They're for you love"

Im startled at the voice behind me , turning around as I stumbled a few steps back when I realise who's voice it was
the man who's keeping me hostage

He's leaning against the wall , holding a glass of whiskey, grasped in his bottom two fingers  and thumb, and a fancy cigarette, held in place by his index and ring finger, his other hand in the pocket of his suit ,

How long has he been here for? Did he watch me sleep? And who the hell drinks in the morning

I stare at him blankly, waiting for the ground to open up and eat me , but that doesn't happen, instead, a psychotic deranged unhinged murderer , who I'm pretty sure runs the Danm mafia, comes up to me , looking down at me like I'm breakfast

I hate the way he looks at me, but that feeling is common now , what wasn't was the fact that I found him........not so ugly

I can't help but think, if he hold so much wealth , power and control over everyone, why isn't he using it on me? Why not kill me?

I stare up at him, the sun hitting one side of his face, his hazel eyes glowing, his thick eyebrows arched , his natural curls rest on his forehead , his nose so perfect I wish I had it , and his lips, plump and big , the natural ruddy contour around his eyes and cheekbones making his face look even more defined , and his nose and lips slightly having a reddish pink shade to them , making me wonder how much women would fall over themselves just to get a glance at him......not that I care, he's ugly and I shouldn't be looking at his stupid face

"Go on, open them"

I'm snapped out of my thoughts as he speaks , and I look down in confusion

"T-these?"

I ask, fear slightly crawling into my nerves

"Yes , they're for you"

I'm more shocked than surprised, he got me all this nice stuff , there must be something he wants from me

But I didn't care at that moment , I only wanted to see what were In those pretty boxes

I slowly make my way to the table , and sit on the floor on its left side , there is a seat at the right , but it's too high

He doesn't sit, he just stands there , his eyes following the movements of my body

I pick up the first box from the row of identical boxes, it's small , but not black , it's a deep blood red , I open it, and gasp slightly

It's a ring, covered in diamonds, and a square shaped emerald resting at the middle , the metal that's grasping it is golden
It looked like it cost a fortune

I look at it closely until I realise, it's not golden metal

"I-is this gold plated?"

"Yes, you're allergic to most metals no?"

Speechlessly breathlessly in shock was an understatement to describe the condition I was in

How did he know...?

After I'm done drooling over the ring , I look up at him

"I-Is this for me....?"

I ask, still in denial, no one's every done this for me , like ever

He steps closer, my head goes up,  his arches down

"Start getting used to it"

He says , and caresses my cheek with the back of his fingers

I slightly move away , but he doesn't react , and puts his hand back into his pocket
