Chapter 5: The Next Next Day

Hilda was getting ready to see her friends. She was looking forward to hanging out with them. But then, something came up.

Johanna: "Hilda. I have to turn in some work. I need you to stay home, and watch the house for me. Got it?"

Hilda: "Alright."

Johanna: "Thank you."

Hilda was getting bored. She watched the house, and made herself lunch. When Johanna got back, she was impressed.

Johanna: "Hilda. Thanks you for helping me today. I know you really want to hang out with your friends. You can go tomorrow."

Hilda: "Thanks, mum."

Meanwhile, Thomas was getting ready to go on his branch line. but Sir Topham Hatt needed him to something.

Sir Topham Hatt: "I need you to carry the mail for Percy."

Thomas: "Oh. Okay."

Thomas went to deliver the mail for Percy. Thomas was beginning to get more annoyed, but he kept it to himself.

Sir Topham Hatt: "Thank you, Thomas."
