Love stories are a cliché of unique coincidences.

Rose was meeting all the guests at the party of the younger clan of the royals when Swarnima requested her to come and meet Nandini and Rudra who would be equally happy to see her. She complied and headed to the party of the older clan. Nivedya trailed with her but she told him to enjoy the party and give her time to meet his parents.

He didn't want to leave Rose but respected her choice and stayed at the party. His friends gave him hugs joining him in his happiness. They loved Rose too and talked about Nimrit's thoughtfulness.

"I could never think of surprising my boyfriend with something so special. To think of it, it's actually bookish. Reuniting your lover with someone who was a part of their lives." Aashna remarked with a glint of surprise in her tone.

"But that's our girl who lives in a world where she makes fantasies come true." Aarna tangled her hand with Nivedya's and put her head on his shoulder looking admiringly at Nimrit who was talking to Tara.

"Congratulations Tara Bhabhi! This is such a good news." Nimrit wished Tara whose pregnancy was confirmed. Tara smiled in response still feeling shy of an early pregnancy. "The lesser the gap the closer the siblings get." Nimrit boosted her confidence but Tara gave her an unsure look.

Nivedya stood behind Nimrit without making a noise but she sensed his presence and her way of talking changed. She fumbled a little and a smile was plastered to her face.

Nivedya smirked at the effect he had on her. He bent towards her and asked, "Tara Bhabhi, can I borrow my girl for a bit?"

Tara cocked her brow teasingly and left giving them space. Nimrit exhaled a breath and turned to face Nivedya. The moment their eyes met ceased the time and they continued looking at each other for long until Nimrit blinked her eyes.

"Happy?" She asked.

"Thank you!" He replied and silence filled the words. Nivedya held Nimrit's hand and told her with honesty, "You are my wealth and prosperity. I don't know how to appreciate you for your thoughtfulness and express my gratitude for..."

Nimrit put her finger on his lip, stepped closer to him, and said, "Don't say anything. Can we get past thanking each other for taking care of each other? Watching you reunite with Rose D, I felt content and realised how you must feel when something good happens to me. The joy of seeing your beloved happy, accomplishing their dreams, and achieving their Zen is all you want. Nivi, I want to confess something."

Nivedya puckered his brows seeing Nimrit nervous but he gestured for her to say whatever she wanted to. He was so happy that even if she said she killed someone he would accept it.

"Nivi, for the past few days you kept asking why I was behaving differently. The reason was that I thought, you deserved better. Someone who has a less complicated life, doesn't have infinite issues like I have, I..." Nimrit hesitated then continued, "Somewhere I doubted my presence in your life and made your happiness my mission. I stopped fighting with you and accepted everything you did. It was tough coz honestly you are so annoying sometimes."

Nivedya was stunned listening to Nimrit's thoughts. Self-doubt was the last thing he could imagine Nimrit having. She was beyond perfect and way ahead of his league. It was he who needed to buckle up to match her.

"I am sorry for being so stupid. That's a first for me but yeah." Nimrit joked to change the tense atmosphere and Nivedya scoffed with a grin. "I want your happiness and I am ready to cross a war zone without a gun in my hand for it. However, I want your true happiness like the one you felt on seeing Rose D. Not like when I let you win an argument or buy me a dress. Nivi, if I cannot be real with you then I am just manipulating you and I want us to be honest with each other."
