A little push is all we need to reach our goals, but it must come from the right person- otherwise, we risk the fall.
Arundhati's question made Nivedya regret revealing Nimrit's past to her. He had promised to keep it a secret, but in a moment of impulsiveness, he had told her about Dickey's involvement in her life.
"Arundhati, can we drop the matter? I have promised Nimrit that I will not tell anyone. We will sort this out soon." Nivedya stepped out of his car and they walked towards their class.
Arundhati didn't press the matter and respected Nivedya's choice. However, she secretly messaged her friend Imran to find out about Dickey. In return, she told him that the elders of Nivedya's family were planning to go on a trip when Abhedya and Swarnima returned from their honeymoon.
The information was of crucial importance and Imran was happy Arundhati was playing her part in the game. He passed on the news to his boss so that the right action could be planned when the time came.
Unaware of the true conspiracy she had become entangled in, Arundhati was simply pleased with the reward she received for providing what she thought was harmless information.
Imran had fulfilled her desire to wear a designer lehenga at the royal wedding in exchange for telling him the number of German Shepherds and the Rottweilers the palace had trained. Arundhati was intelligent, yet she couldn't make the connection between the information she provided and the attack by the rogue dog at the mehndi ceremony.
Nivedya didn't know what he could do to settle the chaos in his life. Nimrit feeling irked seeing Arundhati with him was justified because of whatever happened between the two of them. Arundhati, as a friend, has never been wrong and if he were in her place he would also probably do everything in his capacity to look out for her. He would fight with her boyfriend if he suspected him of cheating on her.
He let out a frustrated groan and decided to make it up to Nimrit. His plans of making out with her were ruined because of the wrong drink Abhedya's friends offered him so he made better plans.
He picked up Nimrit from her college but before dropping her off at the museum he asked her if she would go on a coffee date with him later in the evening. Nimrit gladly agreed because she also had plans to sort out things and the date might give them the right time.
Nimrit was tired when she reached home and quickly completed her studies before getting ready for the late-night coffee date with Nivedya. She talked with Barkha about the events that occurred during the wedding and asked for her recommendations for future actions.
The dress code for the date was loungewear, and Nimrit already liked the idea. She wore seafoam-colored shorts and a T-shirt set with a stars and moon print.
Nivedya wore a maroon stain silk night dress for men. Nimrit frowned looking at him and then looked at herself. "You said, casual." She whined and Nivedya bent his head side ways giving his girlfriend an appreciative look.
She kept adjusting her shorts pulling them down and regretting her decision to listen to Barkha's suggestion of showing off her sexy legs. Nivedya bit the insides of his cheeks to restrict a smile that emerged from watching Nimrit's consciousness.
He put his hand on her hand above her thigh making her gulp her salvia. His playlist played raunchy songs tensing the atmosphere further. The road was fairly empty with just a security car trailing behind them.
Nivedya stopped by the river, where a tent lit up with white fairy lights was set up. Nimrit's eyes sparkled and she held Nivedya's hand as he guided her inside the tent. He made her sit on the small cosy bed dropped with satin Lenin and cushions.
