Hyunjin?

The quaint town rested under the quiet embrace of the night as the trio returned to the toy shop, the echoes of the fest still resonating in their minds.

The three of them bid their goodbyes. Seungmin walked further down the moonlit street and Jeongin headed towards the stairways along with Minyong. The glow of the streetlights cast a soft ambiance, guiding their steps up the narrow staircase to the living quarters above the shop. The two wished goodnight and headed to their respective rooms.(Basically Jeongin stays in an apartment with his family and Minyong resides in an apartment owned by the Yangs itself on the upper floor).

As she reached the top, she found herself standing in front of the door to her room,, the anticipation of the unknown awaiting her on the other side. Taking a deep breath, she turned the doorknob and entered, revealing a cozy, vintage-themed room that reflected the charm of the town itself.

The room was adorned with floral patterns and pastel colors, a comforting contrast to the adventures of the night. A single window allowed the moonlight to cascade gently onto a neatly made bed, and the air carried the subtle scent of nostalgia. Minyong marveled at the simplicity and warmth that enveloped her new living space.

As she closed the door behind her, a soft voice from across the room broke the silence. "You're back!"

Minyong turned to find her roommate, a friendly-looking girl with a warm smile, sitting on her own bed. She had a book in hand and looked up with curiosity sparkling in her eyes.

"I heard about the fest. How was it?" the roommate inquired, patting the spot beside her as an invitation.

Taking a seat, Minyong couldn't help but return the smile. "It was amazing, beyond anything I expected. The whole town came alive, and I met some incredible people."

The roommate  chuckled, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Sounds like you had a blast. I almost went too, but I got caught up in a gripping mystery novel. The allure of a good book is hard to resist. By the way, I'm Somi. Welcome to our little corner of the world." Minyong reciprocated the introduction. "I'm Minyong. Nice to meet you, Somi."

As they exchanged pleasantries, Somi's eyes flickered to the red ruby necklace around Minyong's neck. "That's a beautiful necklace."

Minyong smiled, looking at it. "It is", she said. " I got it as a token of gratitude." Somi smiled.

As Minyong shared the highlights of the fest, Somi listened attentively, nodding and chiming in with occasional laughter. The room was filled with a warmth that transcended the tales of the evening.

With a sigh, Minyong flopped onto her bed, feeling the soft embrace of the quilt beneath her. Somi joined her, sitting cross-legged, a hint of mischief in her eyes.

"So, spill it! Any interesting encounters? A secret admirer, perhaps?" Somi teased.

Minyong blushed, her mind briefly drifting to Seungmin and Jeongin. "Well, maybe. But nothing too serious. It was just a fun night with friends."

Somi winked playfully. "Friends, huh? Who knows, Minyong, maybe this town has more surprises in store for you."

As the conversation flowed, Minyong realized that Somi was more than just a roommate; she was a kindred spirit. The room, adorned with vintage decor, echoed the timeless charm of the era they found themselves in. The clock on the wall ticked softly, marking the passage of time as the two girls continued to share stories, dreams, and laughter.

Eventually, Somi suggested a midnight snack run. The small town, usually quiet at this hour, embraced them with a serene calmness as they ventured to a nearby diner that still had its lights on. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee greeted them as they entered.

They chose a cozy corner booth, and as they savored their late-night treats, the conversation took a deeper turn. Somi shared tales of her own adventures, dreams, and the reasons that led her to this charming town.

"I came here to escape the chaos of city life," Somi revealed, her eyes reflecting a mix of nostalgia and contentment. "There's something magical about this place. It feels like time moves a bit slower, allowing us to savor the simple joys of life."

Minyong nodded in agreement, a sense of understanding growing between them. The night unfolded like a tapestry of shared experiences, weaving the threads of their lives into a bond that transcended the peculiarities of time.

As they returned to their room, the clock on the wall whispered of the late hour. The fest might have ended, but the memories lingered in the laughter that resonated within the room. Somi turned to Minyong with a soft smile.

"Tonight was special, wasn't it?" Somi said, tucking a loose strand of blonde hair behind her ear.

Minyong nodded, her heart full. "It really was. I'm glad I have you as a roommate, Somi. There's something comforting about sharing this journey with someone."

Somi's smile widened. "I feel the same way, Minyong. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that life is full of unexpected moments, and sometimes, the best ones happen when we least expect them."

As they settled into their beds, the room cocooned them in a sense of peace. The red ruby necklace rested against Minyong's chest, a silent witness to the night's revelations. Little did she know that the connections she forged in this town, with friends like Seungmin, Jeongin, and her roommate Somi, would play a pivotal role in the unraveling of the mysteries that surrounded her.

As Minyong closed her eyes, she couldn't help but wonder what other surprises this town held, and how these newfound friendships might intertwine with the enigma of her time-traveling journey. The night whispered of secrets yet to be unveiled, and in the stillness of the room, the past and the present converged in a harmonious dance.

She reminisced the moments she shared with Seungmin and Jeongin at the fest, and the moments she had with Somi, but her mind travelled to when had Seungmin smiled while dancing with her. Unknowingly she smiled and fell asleep from the tiresome night she had spent.
