A space was cleared in the medical room for Wangji to help Baoshan with some sort of spell to help find Xichen. Baoshan let out a sigh and spoke, "A'Ying, I am going to need you to send him spiritual energy when I tell you too. This process is painful and your energy will soothe some of that pain."

"Okay," Wuxian said as he knelt down beside Wangji, "I don't want to see you in pain but I will try to help with what I can."

"I will also block the bond between you two for just a few minutes as you will feel what he feels and you need to focus," Baoshan said, "I will unblock it as soon as this spell is done."

"I have to ask, say we do find out where he is, what then?" Xiao Zhan asked.

"We will have to plan something, if you know people who can help, I'd advise it," Baoshan said, "we will get through this...might I also suggest getting towels or something like that as this can cause bleeding sometimes."

Wei Wuxian's blood ran cold the moment she said that, "What?" He asked, "is this the only way? I don't want him in pain."

"A'Ying, this won't take long, just a minute or so," Baoshan assured him, "I promise it will be okay."

"Wei Ying, I have to do this," Wangji said, "I won't forgive myself if something happens to him...if it was one of your siblings you'd do the same."

Wuxian's mouth dropped open, "they are not my siblings anymore," he reminded.

"Wei Ying...I am sorry," Wangji said.

Wuxian just shook his head, "Just get this over with."

Baoshan placed her hand on Wangji's forehead and began to use energy to find the blood link between Wangji and Xichen as they were brothers. Wangji clenched his fists and his knuckles began to turn white. He could feel a sharp pain in his head that felt as if a hammer was hitting dozens of needles in his head. Soon, he began to wince and blood trickled from his nose.

"A'Ying," Baoshan said and Wuxian began to send him energy. The energy only helped a small bit but it was enough to help Wangji tolerate the pain, "I almost got it...just a moment longer."

Wangji let out a blood curdling growl as blood was now coming out of his mouth and eyes, "Wai Po!"

"I found him," Baoshan said and ended the spell.

Wangji gasped and collapsed into Wuxian's lap, "Lan Zhan...Lan Zhan can you hear me? Lan Zhan?" Wuxian was panicking and in tears. There was so much blood and he worried that Wangji might Qi deviate.

"Wei—Ying," Wangji said and placed his hand on his cheek, "I am okay now. We found him."

"Yibo can you, Wen Qing and Zhan look at him while I speak with Haikuan about Xichen's location?" Baoshan questioned.

The nodded as they helped Wangji lay down on the bed. Wuxian stayed in the room but he kept his distance as he wasn't necessarily happy at the moment. Seeing someone he loves in pain always made him feel terrible. Knowing that this was to find Xichen, he knows that it was probably necessary but Wuxian still hated it. He stayed at the opposite side of the room and stared out of the window.

"Wei Ying?" Wangji called for him.

Wuxian looked at him and saw that they were now alone and Wuxian just shook his head and turned back to the window in front of him, "I feel like karma is really just hanging off my shoulders at this point," Wuxian whispered.
